I loved Waimea canyon! Have you ever been to the light house north of the Island? It is also a bird sanctuary. It is beautiful.

Yes, but not in a few years. It's on my list to go this visit.

Also, I love Hanalei.

Hanalei is beautiful. We stayed at the Princeville Resort the first visit and at a condo with some friends the second time.

My TV remote randomly stopped working. I replaced the batteries but still not working. I am not 100% sure they were new batteries though, so I still have hope for it. My TV is about 20 years old, so my options may be limited if the remote crapped out for good.

Right now I am balancing need verses want. I do not need a new TV. But I want a new TV. I want a shiny new TV I can watch netflix on. But I don't need to drop a grand on a want. Sigh.

Deja vu.  Our remote stopped working.  DH replaced the batteries.  Still nothing.  So he got a new set of batteries.  BINGO!  Maybe it's your batteries?

Watching Jingle All the Way with DS. Apparently, reindeer are doggies. He will be going to bed soon. Movie's almost over.

I'm hoping so. I found some batteries down here, but can't be sure they were new. It is entirely possible they were old ones I didn't throw away when I replaced them. And I didn't want to go upstairs to hunt for more. I get them tomorrow and fingers crossed, that does the trick. But I still want a new TV wink

Well of course!  You're a woman.  When the remote breaks getting a new tv is the next logical step!

With the age of the TV, I honestly don't know if a new remote is an option.

and I've wanted a new TV for a while.  I want one I can stream netflix and Hulu on. This one is too old to have that ability.

 Check sales online.

I have a Vizio. It's wonderful.

Caitlyn is getting one for Christmas. It was less than $200.
