I so agree with this. The best gift I ever received was from my husband. He made a album of pictures of our honeymoon of places we stayed then and now with poems and sayings with a itinerary of our trip to retrace our honeymoon. He booked the exact room at the hotels we stayed the first two nights and nice hotels along our honeymoon route up the coast of Ca. He even booked a 4 day stay at a spa & resort in wine country. It was awesome and I will never forget it.

There were years I scraped and saved in order to take trips. I never once said to myself, "gee, I wish I hadn't spent my money on that vacation."

I don't regret things I've shared with family.

The one thing I was most excited about from 13 on, was some day taking my kids to Disney.

I loved Disney and couldn't wait to share that with them.

What was even better, was my parents were with us.

It was 3 generations sharing something special.

The t shirts are long gone, the pictures are in a box in the closet, but we all still remember that trip and talk about it often.
