Sorry about your client, trudy! Our co-worker lost her son yesterday so there were lots of tears in our office as well. He was 24, a police officer, and was out of his car performing a traffic stop. He was working the drunk driving unit and, ironically, was struck by a drunk driver. Very sad.

I'm doing my Christmas cards but need more stamps. Later we're meeting with our financial adviser to discuss retirement.

Yesterday we ate lunch at Hanalei & sat outside. These tiny birds were attacking us & one of them had a club foot. It was SO gross...I made the guys look at it!

Happy Friday! Weather is supposed to get up to 65 today. Did Mother Nature not get the report that it is December? I am not complaining now but hate to see what the rest of winter has in store.

Today is a busy day. Working on one of the two papers that are due by Wednesday. Floors need to be mopped. Only two loads of laundry to get done. Bed needs to be remade. Bedding from DSS and DIL visit needs to be cleaned and put away. Was supposed to do a Sam's Club run but stomach is not cooperating. I will make it to the Post Office tho.

Also going to cook the last crab in the freezer, take all the shells and make a stock out of it. Will turn that into Crab Corn Chowder.

Taz the Parakeet is squawky today.

Sigh. I wish I were with flan. DN is going to be the best of us for Christmas shopping. We have to head out later to do some. Yesterday I got a ton done. Wrapped all the gifts for the families, stuffed stockings, made cookie dough, dinner, and did the whole shaving thing. We have more shopping to do today and I have to roll out the cookies and bake them today. I hope they come out good. I've never made Mexican cookies before.

So sorry to hear about all the deaths.
