YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, she's excited, we're excited! It's going to be great. She has a one year old and two year old. She is so sweet. She said she moved clear across the state to be with her b/f. She moved in with him and she was working hard while he was home with the kids because he couldn't find a job. One day she came home for lunch and he was in bed with the neighbor. So she left. She took nothing with her. Not even the babies stuff. She's slowly rebuilding her life but things are tight. I'm looking forward to meeting her.

Not trying to be a smart___ here, but first I thought the title was about Samurai and I wondered how that could be depressing. Then I saw that it was "Samui" ( no r ) and got it.

Has been a nice day here after the wild weather yesterday. 46 degrees with heavy rain in the morning, but by noon 76 degrees and clear. The old body has a hard time keeping up.

Karl darling. You made me wonder so I scrolled up and looked at the title. There is, indeed, an r in it. But no a. So I guess I did misspell it. Samurai is fighting and fighting can be depressing and Lily has ordered me not to speak about anything negative anymore. So I don't know if the title will be approved by her.

Beautiful Day! Blue Skies, some light, white clouds. Temps in the upper 60s, almost 25 degrees above average.

Well, it looks pretty from my seat. Need to finish these two papers for school. Today's goal is to finish one of them no matter what. Even if I have to send DH to the grocery store for me.

Tomorrow is the Lodge's Children's Christmas Party. I am on the committee and essential to making sure it goes off without a hitch since I am in charge of the entertainment. Magician, Balloon maker and face painter followed by Santa.

So, we are getting a puppy. Maybe three. . .

Her name is already Fred.

I say it is short for Frieda, but really, he just wants a puppy called Fred.

We can't go get her until last week of January.

Bassett hounds are so freaking cute and they know it. We had a male. He was so hard to housebreak! We called him peediddile. He would pee if he was scared or excited or if the wind blew...

Honestly, I'm not sure. North of me there are a lot of Amish furniture stores, but not sure how you would order and if they deliver. I've never really paid attention to names even. I can ask around if you would like. A couple people I work with oive closer to Columbus

It's 8:15 here and...DH and DS1 are still asleep. I called a close friend in Indy & she said, "Are you back already?"

I said no and she could not believe I was calling from Kauai.

Took myself to lunch. Good news is the tooth is working fine. I'm having no problems chewing and no pain. Still need to be careful until the crown, but this is a good sign

I am trying to work out the Christmas dinner menu. We will have 20 people at our house. I want to try something different, like pot roast or maybe beef stew. My mom said ok, but still wants to have ham and turkey and everything else also! That woman is so set in her ways! It's so frustrating. I think I can make it work, but I'll still grumble about it
