 I disagree. It would be an idea I would have. Not out of a lack of self-respect but because I have a wicked sense of humor. I inherited that from my family. We all poke at each other and we all find it hilarious. I married into a family that is much the same way. I understand that it's not for everyone. I showed the pic to DH and he found it hilarious too. I know my grandma would also find it hilarious.

I have to wonder if it were the men bound and gagged if there would be an uproar about the pic.

I agree with Chef.  I can see the humor in it.  At first, I thought it was a statement.  And then I though it was something else.  Now I get it. It took me a minute, but I get it.  It's humor.  Maybe not your taste, but its humor...

Some women think it's ok when their husbands tell them what to do all the time, too. Or when they yell at them, or even beat them. The mentality of a woman who would let her husband gag her and her female children as "peace" is not something that is ok. It is demeaning - not funny.

We joke about how loud my sister and I are the time.  I mean, we are REALLY loud...and we get louder around each other.  We are always being told to shut it or we are going to be duck taped.  It's funny.
