Welcome home Flan!

I am glad that everyone else has all those delicious sounding baked goods. I would eat them all!

Crazy busy day! After a spot compression mammogram (Damn they hurt!) and an ultrasound (actually 2 ultrasounds), it appears that I have a cyst that does not present in a classic way. The Doctor who normally reads them had to come in a do it again himself since I don't present in normal ways. I am nothing if not unusual. Normal is a setting on a washing machine, normal is not for people.

Today I finished all the shopping for gifts and for all the food. Whew. I have cleaned everything in the house that needs cleaned, just touch ups quickly before they arrive. I have to make the meatballs still and wrap. If it looks like the kids' presents were wrapped at midnight by a drunken woman...there will be a reason for that...

We buy PJ's for the kids every year, but they aren't Christmas themed. They do match or coordinate. One year I bought each kid their fave fandom PJ's, one year they each got their school mascot PJ's. This year...it's Festivus bottoms with tops that say "feats of strength champion". Seinfeld fans will get it. They are going to go nuts. They both love that show and that episode especially.

Find it !!!!


I just made mini crust-less quiches for Chrsitmas Eve breakfast. The are called egg muffins on some sites. They look delish, I just hope they taste delish too! I have them all packed up on the fridge with a big note on it "Do NOT Eat these! Poison!" Lol. I had a chat with DH and DD about what food was off limits so hopefully they steer clear of these too.

 I make those occasionally and freeze them. I take them to work for my breakfast.

 OMG I have done that at both those airports.  SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 And I did it without caffeine. What WAS I thinking?

The flight from O'Hare:

DH was worried that we would miss it...HAHAHA! First they forgot to send the boarding ramp to the gate. Then, after we boarded, one of the flight computers was out. We got a glass of lukewarm water. THEN the other flight computer went out. We got another glass of water and a cookie.

DH crashed as soon as we got home. I was so keyed up that I could not sleep.

I was up either 36 or 48 hours...without caffeine...I think I slept for 12 (when I finally DID sleep.)
