If I kept writing "ivanjellycull Christians " in error, especially after being corrected, I'm sure people would have something to say about it.

No one even caught the yamaka misspelling but you.  Cause no one cares.  We all knew what she meant.  And most of us probably didn't know the correct spelling.  We DON'T care.   You are the one that keeps harping on it...

These are little kids. They are not applying for jobs, and if you are getting pictures made or some such, just tuck her hands away. Jeez. It will last a week, maybe two. I have never had one on my hand last very long. On my belly or upper arm they tend to last longer. This is not a permanent disfigurement,  and it is not akin to dyeing hair.

An allergy was not the issue here, amd mom had email notification,  this is just not a big deal people! What has public education come two that people freak out over henna and Santa??

Not spelling on a message board. As for "sounding" yomica and yamaka SOUND exactly alike.   No one really cares how it's spelled...

It's exactly like dying hair.  It's a temporary color that washed out within a couple of weeks.

You should not put anything on my child that I don't agree to.  Again, emails do not equal permission...

Allergies from henna are extremely rare.

People freak out about all kinds of things. Maybe I should worry if someone puts a sticker on my kid (glue allergy), blow up a balloon (latex allergy),  use paint (dye allergy) or use Play Doh (wheat allergy). Don't let anything touch my kid! Ever!

That's not the point Welts.  You know there are people who have cultural issues about tattoos.  If they would have tattooed a bunch of islamic kids who's parents freaked you would be right there behind them.  You only seem to ever look at the messenger and not the message.

 Firstly, it's not real tattoos.

Secondly, what makes you think I'd back up the Muslim parents? You must have me confused with someone else. if you, like Lily, think I'm pro-Islam, kindly back it up with ANYTHING I wrote, ever.

I'm not a fan of ANY religion.

Not real, but lasting. At least a couple of weeks...would you care if your child had their hair dyed or cut?  Cause thats not permanent...

Most people here know that I am a children's librarian. Would you like to guess how often I get compliments from fellow staff, teachers & children in the community?

But continue to show people here your true colors...
