We are trying to debate. It is Welts who is chiming in with the slams on religion, the "if you believe in creation you are stupid" type comments and so forth. A debate is a back and forth discussion flan. That seems to bother you that people just don't automatically agree.

The point about the swiss watches was valid. That random processes do NOT produce complex and well put together instruments. In fact it would be far MORE plausible for a swiss watch to spontaneously occur which isn't even a living thing versus what you are saying.

Fossils do not prove evolution. All fossils prove is that there was once a living being that died and became ensconced in a preservation material in conditions conducive to causing the fossilization process to take place. Also, fossils are, at best, a snapshot of previously alive beings since they only show what that being looked like at death. Of course, one must take into account that conditions (weather, soil, whatever) most likely affected the fossil in some way.

I've studied evolution extensively and there is nothing that explains HOW life came to be. Evolution explains changes in organisms over time. It does not explain how those organisms came to be. Evolution, by definition, requires something from which to evolve. Something cannot evolve out of nothing. There had to have been a creation event (or even a series of creation events) in order for evolution to even happen. I believe God is the Creator.
