I just messaged my cousin in San Diego, this is our attempt at time travel.

I'm in the future, he's in the past.

Yeah. We're nerds like that.

Sadly, it won't be me either.  BUT, I'll be first in line in 2017!  That's my year.  I predict a wedding and a baby in that order in 2017.

It's Friday and Payday!

Employer sent out a notice that because this is a Bank Holiday, some banks might not process the payroll fund transfers today.

Bank of America did.

I think if I'm going to have grandbabies, I'll first have to make a couple more kids, with a different wife. cry

Happy New Year! No grandbabies in my near future.

Decided to clean the upstairs part of the hamster cage. Damn habitrail. Stuff popping off, bedding, food, water and sh*t flying everywhere. Rat didn't get away, so there's that.

 Don't judge me, I have a condition!

I fell asleep last night about 10, woke up around 11:30, and then fell back asleep.  I just now woke up at 9:30am. I usually can keep myself from doing this, but sometimes, it still happens. I call it an IH flair furious Oh well, nothing I can do about it now.

I need to start researching TVs again. My TV has like double vision, the picture is all blurry.  My dad said when it's time, we are just getting rid of this one, since it's at least 25 years old. Just need to figure out what I can afford.

32" flat screens are not too expensive.

The one that needs replaced is a 55". It's a big open room, and without totally rearranging and getting new furniture, I cant go too much smaller. I think I want a 60", and I'm willing to live with the current situation to save up for what I really want, vs getting stuck with something I'll hate. I said to my dad last night, if prices (of the product my company makes) weren't in the toilet, this wouldn't be a question. If 2015 had gone how we predicted, I'd be looking at a 5-figure bonus in a couple months And DG would be getting a sweet TV.  As is, all I'm expecting is more work and a thanks for hanging on (and the thanks is a long shot)

I know, but I'm happy the money showed up today, and I'm not going to complain.

Are you having fun with the girls?  Did they stay up past midnight?

Next time, get rats instead of hamsters. They never run away or try to escape. They know what side their bread is buttered on.

My chances aren't good for this year.

But, I don't think Conor and Jessi will wait too long, once they get married in May.

2017 might be my year.wink

Wow.  DS has a huge one I think 68" and has a 32" one above it.  He has regular TV on the small one and video games on the large one.

If anyone is good at finding out where a veteran is buried, please PM me. DH and I have a dear friend who is a veteran and we just found out she died back in April 2015. Her "family" isolated her from her friends and we lost contact.

I believe the Gov't keeps a registry.  Look on the services' website; if she was in the Air Force, look around on their site.

DH and I visited Itty bitty, then we went to I-HOP for breakfast. (It's her favorite place.)

Every time we go, we get seated quickly & served promptly. Today, there was a group of people waiting & one gal was trying to handle the waiting list & those who wanted to pay. I counted 15 empty tables.

When we finally got seated, finally got our drinks and ordered (from someone else), we found out that 4 people had not shown up & 3 more employees had walked out.

We gave our server a nice tip.

And Itty bitty was very well behaved!

Over the summer, some birds took up residence in my chimney. We never got around to checking it out and cleaning it out. Which means that right now is the perfect day for a nice fire and I can't build one :(
