It is soft, I kind of wished I picked one up for myself when I was getting yours sent.

Chiefs won! Denver won (small yay), and praying the Vikings win over Green Bay.

I'm taking my (second) large glass of wine upstairs to bed with me, so I can watch the game in total comfort. biggrin

Ah heck, might as well take the bottle with me.

Later folks!

Back to school tomorrow for DD. It's also her birthday. We had her party today at a trampoline park. The kids had a lot of fun. I can't believe she is 8 already!

The bright side is that it makes her more excited for going back to school, lol. This is the first year that her birthday falls on a school day.

Oh, got it! Does she get to bring in a treat for the class?

Is that still allowed?

Yes, but I dropped the ball. I forgot to order anything special, so I'm going to pick up cupcakes tomorrow morning (not allowed to bring anything homemade).

My niece brought a bakery cake for her son's daycare. (It was his birthday)

It wasn't allowed because it wasn't from a "certified nut-free bakery."

Wow. Luckily we aren't in a nut free school. We have to do store bought and include the list of ingredients.

Well, one child at that daycare has a fatal nut allergy. They can't take the chance.

There's all kinds of nuts and nut dust in regular bakeries. If something happened to your allergic child, you'd be very upset with the lack of cautionary measures.

I think so, we do have good insurance.  It is just a pain in the neck and It just upsets me that someone would have the mindset of damaging someone else property.  I would understand it more if it was a accident but to take a key or rock and just scratch on purpose to be mean.  Oh well.  I will just concentrate on snuggling my grandson tomorrow.  His mommy is have separation anxiety.  She came by to drop off diapers and extra clothing and she had tears in her eyes.  She is a good mommy. I'm so blessed to have her for a DIL.

I'm sorry that happened to you Lindley. It's really a sad feeling that someone can do something like that to you. Someone keyed DH's car at his work after we moved to a new town when he started a new job. It was a small office with some toxic people and we were already feeling pretty out of place and unwelcome and then that happened. We don't know if if it was anyone he knew or just some kids messing around, but we still felt really awful about it.

That just sucks, Lindley.

Had a kid scratch the crap out of my car once.

Ran around and around it with a stick while I was sleeping, I worked 3rd at the time.

Called the police, made a report, was told nothing would ever come from it because as soon as the cop left, the family would disappear.

He was right, they moved out two days later.

Well, my pretties.

My alarm is set for 5:30 am.

I guess I should hit the hay, so I'm all rested and ready, to do my civic duty in the morning! Yee haw!wink

Maybe a little song, before I go?

Heigh ho, heigh ho,

It's off to court I go...

(You can whistle the rest...biggrin)

Have a good night, everyone!

An ex-coworker of mine did $5k worth of damage to my truck. From the looks of it, he dragged his car the length of my driver's side when he was backing out. Unfortunately, that area of the parking lot wasn't visible on the camera and he never came back to work.
