You know, you lot are the WORST hypocrites. Remember the lovely thread about a Christian woman storming onstage and taking a microphone during a Muslim peace rally? And she started yelling and saying derogatory things? You lot APPLAUDED her. You got nasty because she was literally dragged away.
I don't remember that thread. I don't think that is right either.
I don't remember that situation at all.
Ah, the collective amnesia. How very convient.
:eyeroll:
I don't care that this woman is Muslim. I would be irritated if any person was standing in front of me while I was trying to pay attention to something.
And 'You lot'? Who are you addressing here? Members of TG? Christians? The people who were on that other thread (that Lindley and I don't remember)?
Generally speaking, I do indeed believe that the people defending the Christian woman from the other thread, are the same ones as condemning the actions of this woman. Perhaps not a perfect match

She was in a church. Her church. And she was right. False religions do not have a place in God's house.

How is standing and sitting in silence disruptive? ?
Well, she admitted to going in with the intent to distupt.
She was blocking the people behind her.
And how long was she standing?
Was she up and down like a bobbin?
When someone goes in with the clear intent of disrupting something, I don't believe for a second she was being silent.

Yes, Lily, you obviously know what REALLY happened...
"I would like to hear what Trump has to say about it," she told The Associated Press by phone. "I'd like to hear because if they say that it was because we were disrupting things, then I would like him to show evidence of where the disruption came, because the disruption didn't come from me. It came from his followers because they saw me."

She was in a church. Her church. And she was right. False religions do not have a place in God's house.
Were they INVITED to hold the rally in the Church?

What derogatory thing did she say? I sorta remember the incidence but that something happen and that is all.

That sounds more familiar, but I can't place it.
Still, this woman wasn't dragged out, she says they didn't even touch her. I'm speaking from the point of the person seated behind her. It would be annoying. At a Rally, at a church service, at a movie, you name it. Someone standing up at a seated event is rude and she would be asked to leave at most venues, no matter what the reason.

I remember going to a bb game and a fan from the opposite team kept standing up and sitting down and it was very annoying.

No, it was a high school game. You would have thought it was a big deal but this is a small town. I wanted to stick my foot over the back of his chair so when he sat back down it would have been like a kick in the rear. I thought about it but I really wouldn't do anything like that. He was really annoying.

She was not in a church. It was in the street.
Not what I remember.

Point is, this woman went in with the intent to cause a disruption.
She was removed because of the disruption she caused.
She is not a victim.
She is a troublemaker.

Must have been two different events. I remember the church was a lady from Tennessee that went to the National Cathedral to interrupt the event.

Lily has strong opinions about what is a false church.
Like my Uncle Leonard had. (Anyone who didn't go to HIS synagogue was not really a Jew. He told me when I was 12.)

No. Actually, the Bible is crystal clear on the subject.

It doesn't matter, it's not comparable. That was a public event in the National Cathedral, this was a private event held on private property with the rules clearly spelled out. If people do not understand those differences, they are not thinking clearly.

Weick hid in the bathroom for an hour and a half to seek into the event at the cathedral, it was invitation only.
She was also the one at the other event mentioned in TX that went on stage and grabbed the microphone.

We cannot be thinking of the same event. The one I'm thinking of did not have a "stage" incident.

And Muslim prayer in a Christian church is BLASPHEMY and HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL to every Christian in the country. But I'm very aware no one cares.

I was referring to the one in Texes, when she climbed up on a stage and took the microphone away from the person speaking.
I do now recall the Cathedral event, but that is a case of everyone being wrong.

I had never heard of the event in Texas, and do not recall it ever being discussed here. Our discussion was on the Cathedral incident.

Ops I'm sorry
Totally understandable. I posted right after you did.
If she was truly silent then all people would see is her standing up at different points in the speech and not know why. I'd like to know how often she stood up. If she's standing up every couple minutes, that's going to get disruptive quickly.
And, truly, put the shoe on the other foot. Would she like someone in front of her constantly standing up and blocking her view at an event she actually cared about? I doubt it.
