It's the college football championship.  I should support the Alabama since it's a SEC team, but Lane Kiffen makes me say, Go Clemson.  Sorry O-4. wink

I don't care who wins. I just want my numbers to hit in the pool.

I have 9 and 3, and I haven't won a dime this bowl season.cry

This is my last chance!

So far, this has been a very tight game. Tied at 14.

DH thinks Clemson will win.... as he sleeps upstairs. ROTF

I won't wake Wayne.

He's not into college football like I am.

Plus, he came home sick today. (Hopefully, just a 24 hour stomach bug.)

I will watch the game in peace.

With the cats!biggrin

Kiffen, isn't he the one that signed on to coach the Vols and then bailed on them? Did he even finish the season first?

Happy Bama won.

FWM, I woke DH up for the last quarter. He glanced at the game for about 2 minutes, rolled over and went back to sleep.

It WAS a good game though.

It was probably the best played championship game in years!

DH was disappointed that Clemson didn't win though.

I didn't really care. wink

See, Alabama doesn't really like him either. Lol.

Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin left behind by team buses

After helping Alabama win the College Football Playoff championship Monday night, Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin got ditched by the team buses at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

After helping Alabama win the College Football Playoff championship Monday night, Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin got ditched by the team buses at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

Bruce Feldman documented the incident for Fox Sports.

Here's an excerpt from Feldman's report:

In what surely will sound like the Most Lane Kiffin Thing Ever, Kiffin walked out of the University of Phoenix Stadium only to see the team’s four buses pulling away. Kiffin was in mid-sentence, talking about his relationship with Alabama QB Jake Coker — “My bus is leaving,” Kiffin said. “That’s not good.”

They can’t leave without Kiffin, could they?

“They’re leaving right now.”

"Crap."

It's not the first time Kiffin has dealt with transportation problems, of course.

In 2013, USC athletic director Pat Haden called Kiffin off the team bus and fired him after the Trojans were blown out by Arizona State.

Well, it was very good, Czech! Exciting until half way through the 4th quarter.smile

Not as good as double over-time in 2002/3.

Ohio State vs. Miami, about gave me a heart attack!wink

One of the most exciting games ever, IMHO.

I probably wouldn't survive another one like that, at my age!biggrin

Our tennis courts are getting resurfaced and new nets and stuff as soon as the weather gets warmer.  I'm really excited about that!
