Bernie Sanders Surges 14 Points Ahead of Hillary Clinton In NH
Permalink

The wheels are coming off the Hillary Clinton campaign. The White House is taking shots at her, the F.B.I. has expanded its investigation into her use of a private email server, shelost the endorsement of MoveOn.org, and now a self-avowed socialist is up 14 points against the Bungler of Benghazi in New Hampshire.

In this same poll two months ago, Sanders was ahead by just +3 points, 48% to 45%. Sanders is also surging in Iowa. What was a double-digit deficit just two weeks ago, is nowwithin the margin of error.  The latest poll out of Iowa, released today, has Sanders up +5%, 49% – 44%. Last month, in this same poll, she was up +11. Should Sanders win both New Hampshire and Iowa, Hillary is going to live through her worst nightmare for a second time.

Has

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)

16%

sent Donald Trump a thank you note?

Sanders has done nothing different since he emasculated himself at the first Democrat debate where he effectively inoculated Hillary from her growing email scandal. The only dynamic that has changed in the Democrat primary since then, is the beating Hillary has taken after she accused Trump of sexism. The Republican frontrunner immediately returned fire by blowing the lid off the DC Media’s 20 year cover-up of around a dozen women who accuse both Bill and Hillary of victimizing them.

In the case of Monica Lewinski, Paula Jones, and Gennifer Flowers, no one questions Bill’s predatory and/or dishonest behavior, and we all were witness to Hillary’s role in attempting to silence and destroy these women.

This is why this New Hampshire poll is also very bad news for a DC Media dedicated to electing Hillary Clinton president. Their best-laid plans are crumbling right along with hers.

During her testimony before

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC)

86%

’s Benghazi Select-Committee late last year, after Hillary was caught red-handed lying about Benghazi, the DC Media coordinated a narrative that declared her the winner. Because of their own role in helping Obama cover-up the truth about Benghazi during the 2012 election, the DC Media is desperate to call the Benghazi issue closed. Protecting Hillary is naturally going to be a big part of that.

The Great Disruptor Donald Trump has not only battered the GOP Establishment Temple. Using the truth and nothing but against Bill and Hillary, he is effectively (along with New Media) doing his part to shred the DNC/DC Media effort to usher Hillary into the White House.

Not only is this New Hampshire poll another example of how awful a candidate Hillary Clinton is, it is also another piece of evidence on the pile that proves the DC Media is losing its once-enormous power to influence the political discussion by shaping the debate and bottlenecking inconvenient truths.

In the nineties, the same DC Media that attempted to destroy Clarence Thomas over one unfounded allegation of harassment from one woman, effectively protected Bill and Hillary from a dozen or so allegations ranging from rape to groping to harassment to character assassination.

Those days are now over, and at least for now, an ancient socialist is looking like he could become the standard-bearer of the Democrat Party.

Yay Bernie!

Trump did him a favor, by coming here and being such an ass. He lost some supporters and pretty much all undecideds that night, and campaign contributions to Bernie spiked.
He showed his true colors here for all to see, and not many people were inpressed.
Bernie is looking better all the time.

I don't believe that's true at all.

The truth is, no one wants Hilary as a President.

They are both true. Bernie is gaining traction for lots of reasons.

BTW, no whining about his age yet incessant whining over McCain being too old. Funny.

I didn't like McCain much, but I don't recall anyone fussing over his age. Lots of presidents have been old.

I've watched this Sanders on a few interviews and seen clips of debates.

He is not engaging at all. He makes me think of that uncle that sits quietly to the side and just nods and smiles.

????  First of all--Bernie does not look "better" to anyone who knows anything about world history and social and governmental systems.

Second, you are in Vermont or wherever--not a state Trump would ever win, anyway.  Just because everyone around you is dumb enough to be cheering on Sanders doesn't mean squat in other states.

PLUS--even taking the results of this poll--it's vs. Hilary, not Trump, so I'm not really sure what your post has to do with anything.

????  Your recall is not very good.  It was a huge issue that he was constantly forced to address.  Other presidents have been old, but he would have had the record over Ronald Reagan by over 5 years, and would have been the only president (should he have served two terms) to leave office at more than 80 years of age.

Heck, that's one reason his choice of VP hurt him.  Even people who liked him weren't confident that he would serve out his terms and we'd have Palin as president.

Well, I stand corrected. I also did not realize how very old he was.

I remembered he was an old soldier, and I respected him.

Bernie Sanders just said something that puts him squarely in "idiot" territory for me. He wants gun manufacturers held liable for mass shootings. Guns are sold and manufactured legally - this is really, really stupid.

Is he also going to hold car manufacturers liable for vehicular homicide? Henckels for knife murders?

He's a total DUD in my opinion. Just shows that practically anybody could Hillary a run for her money. You would think that some other Dem would step up to run against her because she is cracking.

 Well. Cigarette manufacturers had to.

The same arguments were used then.

The cigarette manufactures hid studies and data for decades that showed their products were addictive and deadly.  They lied to the public.  Not the same thing at all.

The Vox is trying to say that Iowa men prefer Sanders b/c he's not a woman.

Here's the thing - Iowa is supposed to be the guage of the nation in elections, and the plain fact is that Hillary can't be trusted, she has no morals to speak of, and the average American does not respect her.

And Trump is actually bringing all her issues into the limelight and not letting the media ignore them.

And if Bernie Sanders wins the primary - he better pick a really good running mate. He'll be 75, and the average life expectency for men is 76. People will consider that. The added stress of being President cannot be good for anyone that age. And that's a concern not just for Sanders, but Trump as well - he'll be 70. And Hillary will be 69 - and she's already claimed to have health issues, that's why she couldn't finish her job as Secretary of State, remember?

I don't think she'll get the nomination. Like last time, some little known candidate will come up and take the lead. My guess is Biden will suddenly change his mind. The DNC doesn't want Hillary, they proved that last time. IMHO.

Dems are gonna throw Hillary under the bus AGAIN! Bwaahh. Of course Sanders wants like 90% taxes. Wouldn't that be great for the economy? Not.

Done it.  Agree with him on a few things - but not the most important.  He is too much a welfare democrat.  We cannot continue to sustain paying people who refuse to work.

I despise sanders, or at least his stated policy positions--but--I think he is at least relatively honest as far as a politician goes. A bumbling fool, but compared to the morally bankrupt, inveterate liar that Hilary is, I think he would do less damage to the country.

But it's not enough.  No one said carter wasn't honest, but he was a terrible president.  possibly the worst president of the 20th century.

Yes, which makes him a poor candidate for President in my opinion.  The last thing we need is more entitlement spending.
