DGD and I spent the day sewing. She needs the practice and she did make a cute top for her doll. I got 5 sets of three strips put together. Bummed that I didn't get more done.

It's cold out there. Expecting to be -25 windchill tonight. MM will have it much worse. Brrr!

Hunkered down with chili and vegetable soup, cookies and hot chocolate. I'm not sticking my nose outside for anyone tonight.

That's the best part, IKWTDS. Bonding time. We also played a game of Life and a card game called Trash. I love having her over to stay. She's to the age where doing things together is so very important. Soon, she will be off with friends instead of over to grandma's. They grow up so fast.
We love playing trash. Sometimes I wish for a power outage just so we are regulated to play card games and such! You have all grown up with me and DD and I see how much those struggling years I would take back in a heart beat, just to hold her as a baby once again.

Exactly, IKWTDS. Your DD and my DGD are the same age. You are a wonderful mother, and very wise to cherish every moment.

LOL Even Sam does the dash out there. Out, done and in, within seconds. He waits until his bladder about bursts! Poor puppy.
