Are u watching Rhe Bachelor?  (Your thread topic line, LGS. I'm guessing you meant, "The".)

People make typos all the time.

Usually, without being insulted for it.

Until your typing is perfect, you really shouldn't throw stones.

Just a suggestion.smile

I never act as the Grammer Police.  Cuz, frankly I don't care.  But, i have been corrected several times!    Yeah, i get a lot more typos on when in am on my phone as well.  I can't see it after i take out my contacts at night.

Sooooo...back to ME!! Lol

There was a box of supplements that some chose to purchase. Others are just following the diet info suggested. Most of the whole point is avoiding foods that may bloat you or cause stomach discomfort, eating really really cleanly for 12 days and then adding foods back in so you can see if eating something upsets you.

Today I ate a hard boiled egg for breakfast (huge for me because I typically don't eat breakfast), a salad with romaine, boiled chicken, and an avacado for lunch and dinner is plain quinoa with a chicken breast. There are a lot of things you can't eat, but enough things you CAN that you don't feel deprived.

Again, it isn't something I would normally do. But I needed to take the opportunity to bond with some of the team and they are getting a HUGE kick out of it. So I am pressing on.

It gets old, after a while, NJN.

If folks would just argue their point.

Without the petty digs at other posters, this board would be a lot more enjoyable.

JMHO.smile

I hope this thread will get back on the topic now.

Carry on, Good Geeks!wink

I read a little bit about it, MM.

From what I read, days 3 through 5, seem to be the hardest.

You'll have to let us know about your experience.

And if you thought it was worth it. smile

It is pretty darn cold. But I like ice cream no matter what the weather is outside!! Yummmm. It's my favorite treat and I only indulge about once every other week or so. But now that I know I can't...I want it desperately.

Sadly you always want what you can't have and THAT is why most diets fail.

No tropical fruits. No bananas, no mangoes, no oranges, etc. All the ones I like are a no. I can have blueberries and strawberries and that's what I plan on buying today to help with the cravings for sweets.

Yes.  Good grief it gets annoying.  And then I know people do it back to get even - I'm guilty of that, too.  Gaga did it because Weltz is the queen of it.

It all needs to stop - it's just so petty and dumb all around.  If you can understand it, then it's not a big deal.

My stomach actually feels WAY less bloated. I have enough energy all day. I have a bit of a headache from the caffeine and sugar withdrawal. Other than that, I am ok. I get crabby by about 8pm because I want sweets. Lol

You can have 2 cups of black coffee. But I don't drink coffee. I like Coke (except I can't do sugar on the cleanse) and I like chai lattes and no milk is allowed on the cleanse either. So I am screwed!!

Oh...no black tea either. Just green tea. Which I have been drinking, but it isn't doing the job as well. I know a big portion of that is mental.

 Hell no!

Lol. I will probably cut down considerably as I do feel better and I know it's the right thing to do. But I have a heck of a sweet tooth. It would be almost impossible for me to give it up for good.

I'm a bread junkie. We have a French bakery on just about every corner. I couldn't give up buttery croissants, fresh baguettes and hot-from-a-wood-burning-oven bagels.

Nope, couldn't do it.

Days 3-5 will be horrible for the caffiene withdrawal.  Can you take aspirin?  Bayer Migraine or Exedrin Migraine both have caffiene in them.

I love olives!!!!!

That's a great idea about the headaches LL. I am going to take your advice.

Today wasn't too bad. I managed to make it through a whole day of meetings. However I forgot to eat lunch. My appetite has drastically changed. I don't eat nearly as much - probably because I am eating different items that are making me fuller.

Well, come on up and visit. You can go to all the French bakeries, pastry shops and hand-made chocolate shops you want.

Our cheeses aint too shabby, either. We make over 300 kinds of cheese.
