No napping here. I was busy shopping, getting the car washed, getting a mani/pedi, making homemade dips for tomorrow and settling down MIL. DH will be home soon. We are going out to dinner because my diploma came yesterday. Magna Cum Laude!

 Congratulations!

You need to eat some chocolate cake. Does anyone besides me know it's National Chocolate Cake Day?

Lovely January winter day! Passing snow showers with no accumulation expecteed today with a high around 40.

Not a work day, school has not started yet. But today will be a busy day. Tomorrow is the first Social Event (DJ/Karaoke) party at the lodge for the social events that I am trying to start happening again on a regular basis. I need to run around getting the food/drinks for it. It is adults only and BYO Beer and Wine only. We are ordering pizza and hoagies. I am getting the beverages, veggies, chips, dips (I will make homemade), nachos and popcorn.

If there is time, I will also get a mani/pedi and the car washed.

Ha! you are from the PA area!

Thank you everyone. That next degree should be 15-18 months away, just 15 classes.

How was your African feast?

It was excellent, I had the boar as an appetizer, and the Garam Marsalla Sea Scallops.

My team mates turned it into a birthday celebration for me, since this is the last chance before my birthday next week. The restaurant had a little plate with a candle, and what I think was a cup of frozen pudding with whipped cream and a cherry on top.

We had a great time. For 11 of us, I didn't see the check but I think it was about $1,300 (tip included). Saadia (our server) was great.
