Not sure why animals are always brought up? We are more than animals. We are made in the Image of God. We have a spiritual/moral component and obligation and responsibility as MORAL creatures that we do not expect of animals. Dogs eat their own poop sometimes too, that doesn't then mean that is something we should model. Sheesh.

Absolutely. To adopt from one of our girls is less than $1000. Often much less, depending on the circumstances. ..

To adopt a child is such a difficult process, it's ridiculous. Mine, which was supposed to be an easy, close family adoption took years and about $2,500. That doesn't seem like a lot, but it's about 10 times the cost of an abortion.

Let's say for simplicity's sake that there are one million adoptive couples out there and one million unwanted babies. First year, it works out fine.

Second year, there are a million more babies, but not a million more couples. It's math.

By year five, there will be such surfeit of bahies you won't be able to give them away. Then it's orphanages or something equally distubing.

Not everyone that has an unplanned pregnancy is a slut. I'm not saying that women don't need to take responsibility for their reproductive health but honestly, I had an unplanned pregnancy and was married.

And before you start screaming about abortion, no, I didn't abort. It wasn't the right choice for me. My only point is that saying that unplanned pregnancies only happen to sluts is not truthful.
