Fnw, hope your little one gets well soon, happy birthday to your little man bonny, njn, glad your husband is done with the surgery and is home. Speedy recovery wishes to him. Every one stay safe in this weather. Hi czech and everyone.

Babysat my little grandson today. He has no desire to take a nap. I think he is afraid of missing out of something. Talk to my dd and grand girls last night on facetime. I think my dd is ready to come home. My little baby grand girl is just now starting to take steps.

The snow is really coming down right now.

We might get a good dusting after all.

I just took the dog out, another three inches since I last cleared the driveway and it is still snowing, I am too tired to clear it again. My car is AWD so I can get out tomorrow but will have to come home to the chore...

It's unwise and unsafe to run a snowblower when you're tired. It's unsafe to run a snowblower after dark.

Stay safe, please.

Did they do a block on him?

When dad had his rotator cuff repaired and shoulder replaced,he wore a block home.

It was like an epidural and kept his shoulder bathed in pain meds for 3 or 4 days.

Mom about passed out taking the tube out.

But she did it like they showed her.

Hope he heals quickly.

When will he start PT?

They knocked him out, took his gallbladder out, and let him wake up.  He asked for 800 mg ibuprofen and she wouldn't give them to him.  Only 600 mg but he got a bottle of that and a bottle of hydrocodone.  He'd rather take the ibuprofen.  He doesn't have stitches.  No PT.  Three tiny tiny cuts.

Went to the doctor, he prescribed Azelastine nasal spray. Wants to find out if my cough is from post-nasal drip.

I'm soooooooo exhausted. spouse has been grumpy and yelling all day.

She gets that way when I have to go out of town, but I just came back, and no other trips are coming up. If I ask her what's wrong, she says I never listen to her. Everything is all my fault.

Ugh.

If I go to sleep now, I know she will wake me up at 11 to watch two hours of tv shows with her. disbelief

Tell her you're taking a medicine with sedative effects.  Once you take it you won't be able to get out of bed.

She's funny and sad at the same time.  When she first had the seizures she couldn't jump at all.  She would try and fall flat on her face.  Now she can jump but isn't always so coordinated that she can get the whole girth up.  If she gets the front up I can lift the hind part up.  Sometimes she forgets she can get up on the bed.  If there's food involved she can usually remember though!  I can lift Layla who weighs in closer to 50 pounds than Carlee who is considerably bigger.  We won't even discuss the 90 pound dog.

Yeah, I just don't get this.  Today the kids have been great.  In a relationship when someone is down you buck up and help.

Took DS an indoor trampoline park today. That lil bugger ran, jumped, bounced, and slid down the slide nonstop for about an hour before starting to slow down. He still didn't want to go home but was at the point where when he'd "fall" on the trampoline, he would just stay laying down for a bit before getting up for another go. He fell asleep soon after we hit the main road to go home.

You should've seen his face when he figured out he could get most of the way up the trampoline wall at the back if he ran fast enough. Such a big smile! He was a bit confused at first at the bounciness of the trampolines but quickly figured out he could jump higher and higher. He did what he does at home and got his body into a sitting position mid-jump then got confused as all get out when he bounced right back up rather than landing and staying put.

Yes, that's what laughing denotes - concern.

Checking ears is a good recommendation. Ear problems, such as tinnitus, can throw off one's balance, causing them to fall more often.

Unfortunately, not the case...And no Jack was involved when I initially broke it either.  wink

I had no idea that asking her if she had her ears checked was "making fun of her".
It's very common for an inner ear disorder to cause loss of balance and falling.
