Just because someone's old grandpa called it a "white guilt" video doesn't make it so.
It was a video shown during Black History Month, about unequal privilege, which is a fact.

Ridiculous. How does this video help stop racial discrimination? If anything, it fuels it.

I know plenty of privileged black people. I know plenty of underprivileged white people, too. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And that goes universally. So cry me a river.

Of course it does!!!  If you are a person of color, you get all kinds of great scholarships, even though people smarter than you deserve them.  You get your own Miss America pageant. You get your own TV network, and even your own show (can you IMAGINE a show called "Whiteish"?)  When you fail in life, you get to use your skin color as a reason and not take responsibility for your own action.  You get to blame whitey for all your ills. You even get to have your own Congressional Caucus!

So yes, skin color DOES make a difference...

I'll put on my flame suit because I believe if blacks don't want to be thought of as thugs then they need to do something about the fact that their sons are acting like thugs. I know it's not all black people but we are not even allowed to talk about it or we're racist. Rapper's glorify the thug life and they are still being looked up to be these young men. Until the rest of the black community stands up to them the racial profiling will continue.

My ancestors did not have the right to vote or own property. And that wasn't too much earlier than 1955. But you don't see me asking for special privileges, or complaining about righting past wrongs. It's done. We have rights now. Move on.

Why, yes!  My great grandmother was IN FACT a slave!  In Ireland.  And she was bought by a man when she was 12, he was 40.  She had 6 children with him before she was able to get away.  And this was in the last century.  Any more stupid questions?

I understand the NBA All Star Roster includes only one white guy. Maybe we should tether weights to the ankles of the black players so they can't run as fast or jump as high. You know, to level the playing field. Or boycott the whole event, just to show them that we won't stand for discrimination anymore.

I don't know what it is like to be anything but a white female.

I'm not going to try to pretend I know.

Shoot, I don't know what it is like to be anything or anyone but me.

But I'm not going to blame others for my life and how I have lived it.

We ALL face struggles.

Some are resilient and some crumble.

I can tell you one thing, when I was told I couldn't do something because of this or that, I was going to prove you wrong one way or another.

Yes, some have more advantages than others.
