Yeah, we have that problem here too.  It has to do with the engines and the gas, but the buses here won't start below a certain temperature...

And by law, if the buses can't run, they have to close school...

it is 59 degrees here and beautiful. NO wind!!!

It has been a busy busy week. DD2 was admitted to hospital earlier, she is 24 weeks and was running a high fever. She was in there over night and is now feeling better. Thank goodness for the IV fluids and antibiotics.

Baby is fine.

I am so glad it is nearly Friday...I need down time!!!

Trudy, c'mon over we have four bathrooms and its just my husband and I living there!!

YOU could have your pick!!!!!!!

Our new library is under construction. They are well under way. It's going to be six times the size of the one we have now. We had one building that housed city hall, the police station, and the library. A new police station and city hall have already been built. The library is almost done. I'm excited. It's going to be way closer to us. I don't know who picked the colors though. I'm sure they paid someone big money to study this and pick them. The new colors are orange, lime green, and purple.

That sounds like a horrible color scheme. I want to see a pic when it's done. Maybe it will look better than it sounds.

All I can think is there is some reasoning behind it. Surely they wouldn't just randomly pick colors? They had to be advised. Whoever it is needs to be fired though. When it's built and done and I can go I will take a picture!

Do you think they may have picked those colors to energize their patrons?
It sounds awful together. (The colors)

My granddaughter gets to perform a Chinese new year dance with her class. Wish I could be there. Glad your little one got to be on stage chef. I bet he was real cute up there.

One the homefront, DH survived gall bladder surgery and was up and around the next day.  Yesterday he came down with a cold and thinks he's dying.

Dona, I couldn't do the work you do. Not only is it physically hard, but you have to make tough decisions about those little calves. I have to applaud you for that.

It is about 12 degrees, the next three days the high temp won't be about 16. We will have school, it has to be below zero with howling winds to call off school due to the cold. Ohioans are wimps.

It was -6 today and got all the way up to 8 at one point. Everyone had school and no one died. That is all. 😜

 Apparently we are. I can't even argue that, because I agree. I never remember not having school because of the cold, there had to be ice or a lot of snow. Oh, I remember them closing school when like 70% of the county had the flu at the same time.

 I've seen worse.

I'm hoping it will be like an apartment complex near us. It's olive green, burnt orange, and purple. Sounds horrid but it works.
