Kris Fears Ranting Kanye is Damaging their Brand!

He raised eyebrows by launching into a series of epic rants on Twitter this week.

And Kanye West's bizarre social media spree is alleged to have angered Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, who is said to be worried her son-in-law's behaviour could have a negative impact on her family's image.

This comes following a week of eccentric tweets from Kanye, ranging from taking credit for Taylor Swift's success to claiming Bill Cosby is innocent, and declaring he has $53M of 'personal debt.'

An insider told The New York Times' Page Six: 'His Twitter rants are out of control, and Kris fears that he’s taking the family down.

'Kris wants Kanye to hire someone to handle all the noise and drama so he can focus on being an artist.'

Kris - a highly committed momager to her famous daughters - has reportedly told Kanye he needs to get a good PR management to reign him in before he damages the 'Kardashian brand' further.

MailOnline has contacted Kris and Kanye's representatives for comment.

This comes just after the rapper, who just released his new album The Life of Pablo on Tidal, reportedly had a 'meltdown' just before he was due to perform on Saturday Night Live.

According to Page Six, he was heard ranting: 'By 50 percent [I am more influential than] Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f**king Picasso and Escobar.

'By 50 percent, more influential than any other human being. Don’t f**k with me. Don’t f**k with me. Don’t f**k with me.'

Reports of Kris' concerned reaction to Kanye's outburts come amid rumours his wife Kim Kardashian 'cannot stand' the Stronger hitmaker's online tirades.

Not a fan? Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian is also alleged to be unamused by all the Twitter drama

'Kim can't stand it. She is all for self-promotion, but doesn't approve of Twitter drama,' an insider told People.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star 'will do whatever to make this work', however, the source said of her marriage to Kanye.

The hip-hop star recently tweeted, 'My number one enemy has been my ego' following his lengthy outbursts.

The Life of Pablo artist began earlier in the morning: 'A wise man should be humble enough to admit when he’s wrong and change his mind based on new information…'

Contrite: Kanye West admitted he was wrong on Wednesday (pictured last week at Kanye West Yeezy Season 3 at Madison Square Garden)

And followed the missive with a confessional note: 'My number one enemy has been my ego… there is only one thrown (sic) and that’s God's …'

Kanye later tweeted a correction on his spelling of the word 'throne'. The correction came after fans slammed him for the misspelling, with one Twitter user writing: '@kanyewest Did you seriously just spell THRONE "THROWN"?!"

However the confessional tweets may have had nothing to do with Taylor Swift or Bill Cosby as earlier in the stream of messages on Wednesday morning he referenced some of his previous comments.

'Man, I was thinking about when I commented on the idea of "taking the rap throne”,' Kanye began, 'that statement has’t been sitting well with me… That’s a dated mentality ... I’m not on that …'

He went on to explain: 'every rapper is somebody’s favorite…Some rappers got the club … Some got the radio… some got the conscience…some got the streets… Everybody has something they do the best…'

Last week, Kanye infuriated Taylor Swift after he released a track about having sex with her and claimed he made 'that b*tch famous' with his 2009 MTV Awards stage invasion.

In over his head: Kanye has also recently claimed to have $53 million in unpaid debts (pictured with wife Kim Kardashian last week in New York City)

On another note: Kanye shared some of his dreams during the stream of consciousness rant

On another note: Kanye shared some of his dreams during the stream of consciousness rant

In an astonishing 15 tweet outburst last week, Kanye began by saying he 'did not diss' the singer and he has 'never dissed her'. But he then launched into a rant about how he called her on the phone, had an hour-long conversation with her about the song Famous, and said she found it 'funny' and gave him her blessing.

Furthermore, he defended the use of the word 'b*tch' in the song, saying it was an 'endearing term' in hip hop, like the word 'Ni***'. The track Famous, which also features Taylor's rival Rihanna, Kanye raps: 'I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.' And added: 'Why? I made that b*tch famous.'

In what could be seen as a jump in logic, Kanye even claimed that the line 'I made that b*tch famous', was actually her idea.

Hitting back! Taylor Swift took a not too subtle swipe at Kanye and his new single 'Famous' as she accepted the award for Album Of The Year at the Grammys on Monday night

In the tweets he wrote: 'I'm not even gone take credit for the idea... it's actually something Taylor came up with.'

The Trouble hitmaker denied Kanye's claims and blasted the track as 'misogynistic'.

Her spokeswoman said in a statement to DailyMail.com: 'Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single Famous on her Twitter account.

'She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, "I made that b*tch famous."'

A history of conflict: Kanye, 38, infamously interrupted Taylor's 2009 speech at the MTV VMAs when she won Album of the Year for her record, Fearless (seen on right)

Kanye infamously interrupted Taylor's 2009 speech at the MTV VMAs. But since that time the two looked to have patched things up as Taylor presented Kanye with the Video Vanguard Award at last year's VMAs. Now, of course, it looks like things are back to being volatile.

And on Monday night at the Grammys Taylor hit out at Kanye as she accepted her gong for Album Of The Year.

The 26-year-old singer noted that she is the only woman in history to have won Album Of The Year twice in a thinly veiled attack after Kanye claimed he made the pop star famous.

I agree.  But, if you look at it from her point of view, they do have a certain brand image--and that's the money maker.  It's not their fault the American public is mostly vapid and shallow.  To their credit, they have taken advantage of that.

Well, I could agree with you--but then we'd both be wrong.
