Nope. My brother was involved in a terrible accident where he was speeding . The other driver lost a leg. My brother was charged with reckless driving (even though the guy pulled out in front of him). I'm not sure of the laws in Nebraska but here both drivers can be at fault.

He must have had a terrible lawyer.

No. It's the law here. Did you skip over that part or just ignore it because it didn't fit your argument...lol

In retrospect, reckless depriving was probably appropriate--but that's not the same thing as murder or vehicular homicide.

No way is it the law that it is legal to not yield when making a left turn.

Did you read what I wrote or are you just pretending to miss it? Both were charged because the other driver didn't yield but my brother was speeding. Geez you only read what fits for you...

Again, reckless driving was probably appropriate, but that's not what the article was talking about.

????  I posted immediately after my reply on that saying that reckless driving was probably appropriate.  Talk about not reading.

We were talking about how they both should have been charged (my opinion) and then you start babbling about the OP like that changes the fact of what WE were talking about. I can read just fine and I know you can so it's just a ploy for you...lol

You said there is no way the cop could be charged. Backtracking at it's finest...

Speeding is illegal. That is also the law. If it were you or I we would have been held partly responsible.

Very doubtful--although possibly in a civil case, or between the insurance companies there could be a split. Criminally--no way.

You too. It's hard to keep track when you keep changing your mind...

First you say "there's no way he should be criminally charged" then you say he should be. So which is correct and which were you WRONG about...lol

????  So what?  I immediately modified my statement.  Do you not want me to ever agree with you on anything?

I like it that we agreed but you have such a hard time admitting you might have been wrong in your first statement (it was not almost immediately, page one no way, page two yes he should be) and then all the talking in circles so no one would notice.

It was the second to last post on page one. Plus, I was thinking about the murder charges from the article, not a traffic violation. Yes, he was guilty of speeding--but that doesn't make the accident his fault.
