let's have a thread that no one can post anything nasty about anyone and no passive aggressive behavior.  The challenge is, if you violate the rule you are banned for ever from this board.  Is that allowed, Admins?

We have threads like that. The Daily thread. Cooking thread. Word games and on and on. People get on political or abortion threads then complain yhat they are "contentious".

I love talking to you peeps, fills the void when I am helping DD with her stuff, commercials, or in between chores.  I am done with the stuff that goes on and some of the drama and hatred spewing sets me off.  I don't want to be that person nor do I want to converse on a thread with that person.  Let's keep it neat, doesn't have to be clean!biggrin

So I will start with a topic.

As most of you know I have issues with my ex. He is harassing and was abusive, even during my pregnancy. So much so that he actually uttered the words he abandons us and wanted nothing to do with the baby. At that point I could have moved out of state, far away from him and there would be nothing he could do. I chose against my gut not to do so. I sometimes wished I had chosen differently, but the decision I made was probably the most unselfish decision I ever made. I did it for DD thinking she needs to know her father. Not sure that was a correct thought given his demeanor. But so that is the life I chose and now live.

We all say listen to your gut. But do you always? How has it turned out for you?

I use to listen to my gut. And depending on if I liked what it was saying, I would follow it.

If not, I became unable to translate.
