I got my kit in today for just the hive (not the bees). I can't wait to start building it.

Haha. Yes. It looks goofy but I don't mind. The kit came with all the stuff you need. I've been practicing (playing) with the smoker. It keeps the bees calm. I wonder if that would work on people...

It NEVER pays to fix a refrigerator. NEVER. 

Two reasons:

(1) they don't stay fixed. What ever broke is very likely to fail again within 3 to 6 months; and

(2) if your refrigerator is 5 years old, the new ones are more energy efficient, and will pay for themselves in electricity savings by the time the new warranty runs out.
