Self worth and self respect is tied to self control and not putting yourself into a situation in which you have to kill your unborn child.

I never said a person HAD to wait until marriage to have sex.

When I said unless married, I am talking about being able to not have sex isn't really an option.

It's up to both people in the marriage to do everything humanly possible to prevent an unplanned pregnancy.

Getting pregnant isn't the only risk for having sex with multiple partners. If condoms don't always prevent getting pregnant neither will it protect them from stds. Teens are to immature to make life risk and the lesson begins at home.

Girls should be taught that is someone pressures her to have sex then that boy does not love her and no they will not die or get paralyzed if they don't get sex. They should be taught that sex is a beautiful expression for a man and woman who love each other and care about each other and it is a precious special gift they give each other, the boy too.

It will save them so much heart ache and they will not have to kill a innocent baby or deal with stds and other consequences. The woman in the article sounds like a heartless person. She tries to make abortion sound like it is no different then getting rid of a wart.

I am against taxpayers paying for abortion. It's a moral choice and I don't think the government should be paying for that. I could make another statement but then I'd just get accused of making this about me so it will just stay at that.

I would need to reread the OP. Just last night on the mom page I post on there was a lady who was a newly single mom. She was struggling, afraid, scared, and down in the dumps. She was asking other single mom's how they did it. We all shared our experiences with her and after we did she said she just sat down and had a good cry and then felt better. She thanked us all for giving her some encouragement. Sometimes people just can't see the forest for the trees.

So expecting a person to have self control is imposing?

Teaching our children that they are more than hormones and urges is imposing?

I don't know about anybody else, but I've taught my kids they are more than a piece of tail and anyone worth their time and affection will treat them with respect.

And that they are to treat others with the same respect they want to receive.

It's just incredibly sad to me that people don't have more self respect, self worth and self control.
