I was going to go to work today, but I think I'll stay home and get some cleaning done. I'll go to work tomorrow. Tonight, some friends are going out. One guy got a new job, so we are celebrating. I'm not 100% sure I want to go! but I'll make myself because I know I'll have a good time once I get there.

Flan, hope you feel better. Make yourself take a shower, that always helps me.

My mother never put stuff on our refrigerator. She didn't like the clutter. She was really OCD when it came to our house. My refrigerator is covered with the boys' stuff, calendars, etc. A board with a list of emergency phone numbers. Artwork and pictures. Held with magnets from places DH & I visited.

Morning all!

DD8 is feeling better- just has the cough hanging on. DD1 woke up with a fever, so far she is acting ok, let's hope it stays that way!
DH is now sick too.. that will be the hard part.

Beautiful day here, I hope I can get outside to enjoy it.

Been to the vet already today. Going to start calling this dog "million dollar baby". He ate a toy - and I mean he ATE it. He likes to chew stuff into bits luckily, so there is no obstruction. But we need to wait for him to pass the rest. They X-Rayed him, gave him fluids and sent us home to watch for it. He can't eat until it passes. He can't get comfy and is lethargic - that's a bad sign with this guy.

Now that he is all sorted for now, going to start cooking dinner. I have 3 of DD's friends over (even though she is in LA still) and they are hungry! Lol. They are training on campus for the weekend and staying with us in DD's room. They keep sending her pics of the fun stuff they are doing in her room while she is gone!

Taking DD to a furniture to look at a bedroom set we like for her. The store is about a 45 minute drive. I don't like shopping at the cheaper stores since I try to buy furniture that lasts a lifetime. Then grocery shopping. I am making tilapia, lobster biscuits and brussel sprouts for dinner

Don't over do it flan. You don't want to backslide. If you have the upper respiratory thing everyone around here has, it's a good one week out of commission totally and another 1-2 weeks of recovery. Take it easy.

GO to a doctor. Sounds like what my son had a couple weeks ago. Pneumonia. Antibiotics cleared it up.

I have stuff on my fridge. Pictures and souvenir magnets. I still had a few of those magnetic letters on my fridge till about 5 years ago.

My evening did NOT turn out well at all. Haven't been feeling myself for a while, woke up yesterday morning around 4 with a feeling of falling and an intense burning in my left, upper chest and back.

It passed after a while. Went back to sleep but just felt sick all day. Had the same thing happen again around 11. Still felt like crap.

Went out last night, was seated, ordered and it hit again. Only this time it didn't ease up and when I excused my self to the restrooms, I was so fuzzy headed and almost disoriented and the falling and burning happened again followed with feeling like I would pass out.

Caitlyn helped me back out to the table. I said i think i needed to go to the ER. Jesse helped me out cause i was really shaky and mom took me to the ER.

After 6-8 hours of test, xray and observations the only thing that showed up on anything was a whole lot of inflammation in my chest and back. Evidence of a pulled muscle. And an increased white blood count which I dictates an infection of some kind.

I still feel awful.

Not sick at my stomach sick. But like something inside is wrong sick.

Good news? Dad and the kids boxed up mine and mom's food AND got me cheesecake and brought it home.

So I am having the cheesecake now. I probably won't feel like it later.

My mom always said this. Even if you're on your death bed a shower will make you feel better! And clean sheets.

I love love love the ones DG sent. Sturdy and go on my fridge. My fridge holds a bit of everything on it. Tons of kid artwork.
