Urgh. Been awake since 4:30am. Stupid medication. I just wanted to get a good night's sleep.

I have meetings all day today in the cities. Starts with breakfast meet and greet at 8:30 and goes through a dinner mixer that starts at 6pm. 3 days of that crap. I detest the forced fun of it all. Just have to suck it up and smile for the next 3 days. Here I go ... 😁

The next 3 days sound like torture, MM.

Hang in there!

Had a long day yesterday. Poor little Fred started vomiting and having seizures are around 5pm, so we rushed her to the vet, who sent us to a 24/7 emergency clinic an hour and a half away. She stayed there the night, and is doing much better this morning, but I am exhausted. Didn't get back until after 11, and had to be up at 4.

SUPER TUESDAY!!!!
I'm still on the fence about which way I'm going to vote. I'm debating voting in the democratic primary for Bernie, hoping to push Hillary out. But I may change my mind before I get there and vote in the republican primary. Decisions, decisions...

Do they know why she had seizures?

Hopefully today is better!

I thought about that as well...I did it during O's first term election because I didn't believe he stood a chance and look what happened there.  Not taking that chance with Bernie.  So I voted for Trump.  Flame away.  DH's vote cancelled me out anyway.

My husband thinks Biden is going to be convinced to run if Hillary gets the nomination since she most likely be charged. Just his theory of what will happen.

What is scarier still is Trump is no different, at least not in beliefs. I don't know why the Christian right is supporting trump big time. To be honest we liked trump at first but not so much anymore.

I like him because he understands the importance of borders, trade restrictions, capitalism, and supporting the constitution and amendments.

I hope that is true...  I realize he is coming off as strong and understand why people feel he will be a strong president and hopefully protect our borders and I hope so.  What bothers me is he is not really against abortion and has made donations to bill and Hillary in the past.

That bothered me as well, Lindley, but I think he has evolved. My parents were democrats at one time, too, but changed to Rep when Nixon was running. I know, not a good example, but Nixon did do some good things while he was in office, and would have continued if Watergate had taken place today where no one seems to care.

As for his stance on abortion, there's nothing anyone can do about that now, it's the law of the Supreme Court. I don't know why this is an issue for any of them, really.

The boys really, really wanted to vote. They did help me find Trump's name on the ballot. They started chanting his name, so I'm pretty sure everyone there knew who I was voting for.

I can agree with that. My parents were democrat to and voted for Nixon and Reagan. My dad said the only difference about Nixon was he got caught. Clinton actually went to Nixon for advice on foreign policy before Nixon fell ill and died. I think to me what the important thing about a Presidents stand on abortion is federal funds. I don't want my tax money going to fund pp or other abortion services.

That makes sense as well, Lindley. I don't want mine either. Although I feel it is a very important issue, I do think there are bigger issues involved in my decision as well.

If Hillary gets charged for her part in using her private computer for top secret information she may have to step down.  Its just a theory.....

Dona, I hope you see this.  If you need any advice on Fred's seizure just pm me.  We've been through hell and back with Carlee and her seizures.  She's on phenobarbital now and has been seizure free for one month.  She's never gone this long without having one.  The vet is keeping her on the pheno for three more months and then we're going to discuss options since pheno is hard on the liver.  There are other drugs out there but he wants her stabilized first.

I agree.  I don't think Trump has ever shook his real values.  His "new and improved" self came out at the same time he announced he was running for office.  That's just way too coincidental for me.  And all his talk of Planned Parenthood being so great...  He doesn't even know what they do.  They don't do mammograms.  They don't give out free birth control.  Most of their services are referred out and all of their services are on a sliding scale basis.  You have to pay even if you're broke.  I honestly wish people would become familiar with Planned Parenthood before they start throwing it around.

I think they need to do away with the electoral college. Now with everything being computerized they have the ability to track individual votes. It had it's place but I think it has worn out it's welcome.

Absolutely not.  It must be there.  If not, then most states wouldn't even be represented in a presidential election...Cali and NY would decide the president, and that would be horrible...
