There are plenty of conservatives who, if you don't like their candidate, will provide you with more than enough hate. It really does go both ways.

No, you are wrong. There's disagreeing and then there's hate. I know the difference.

But the ballots had to be created, vetted, printed, and delivered prior to the 16th so reality any one who had not dropped about prior to Feb 1 was probably still on it.

I was willing to give a pass if early voting could have caused it. But with the new information that Nobody Just Nobody supplied, I don't think "well they are on the ballot" is a reasonable excuse. I can excuse not knowing other party candidates have dropped out, but how can a person not know their choice has dropped out? That there are voters that do that simple boggles the mind.

This is what I am trying to say. People who are informed enough to know and go to early voting are informed on whom they want to vote for. And they would be informed on who has dropped out. Yes, they are still on the ballot and you can vote for them, but why?

The principle of it b/c they don't like the other choices?

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
Did anyone see Ted Koppel chastise O'Riley and other commentators last night on Fox?
It was great.
Aww, Ted!
I was really glad I didn't miss the interview. He really slammed the commentators in general. In his opinion (Ted's), there is no longer any true journalism. He's right.

There is an election timetable. When i ran for School Board, you have to have certain things filed. And, then do all the filings and that date passes, even if you drop out of the election, your name will still be on the ballot.

It is the same here. Filing deadlines have to be met, but you can drop out and be on the ballot anyway.

Fox commentary was about the Republican National Convention disregarding the popular vote and going with a candidate of their own choosing this morning.
The last time that happened was in 1948. Dewey lost.
GOP would be nuts to go against the popular voters. The GOP will be history if they do.

I don't think that is a bad thing, sadly.

I agree. The good ol' boys club has to go. Young blood with vision is needed, and they can't be controlled by special interest groups.
The GOP is currently receiving money from slush funds and special interest groups to destroy Trump. That will backfire and slap them in the face and will ultimately destroy the GOP. Special interest groups are exactly what people are against. Why is it so hard for the GOP to figure that out?
