I slept fitfully. I'm staying home & going to the doctor (though things feel better).

Congratulations to your cousin.  Bernie didn't gain a lot of delagtes so Hillary is really taking the lead. Maine is a small state.

#1 had kind of a croupy cough the last couple days, so I'm keeping him home this morning. I'll take him to school after lunch/recess.

Good morning!

FNW, hope your son feels better soon.

Dona, congrats to your cousin.

Flan, it's time for you to get better!

Hi IKWTDS, Trudy, NJN and Lily!

Hoping for a slow day here. Might rain, might not. At least the yard looks decent.

Hope you all have a good day despite it being a Monday. :)

Morning everyone. I can't believe it is already Monday. I think someone must have fast forwarded the clocks because it seems that it was just quitting time Friday. It is a beautiful day here.

That time already?  That means Maggie will wake me up at 4am instead of 5am now.  Yipee!

Morning All! Beautiful day, sunny, temps going up to 60 today and in the 70s for the next three days.

Went out for breakfast but was disappointed. Heading out to chiro soon. Working on final version of paper for school and then need to get cracking on second paper. I am behind on the deadlines I set for myself.

We start growing in February here.  Inside.  If you wait too long everything dies in the heat.  We have three corn stalks that are about three inches high.  We have six tomato plants with tomatoes on them.  Some cucumbers, one squash, two strawberries, a bunch of containers of lettuce, and all kinds of herbs.  We have a bunch of peppers too.

Wow!  The only thing growing here now are the crocuses.  The tips of my irises have broken ground & I think my mini daffodils will bloom soon.

Oh gosh, I remember having a hard time getting the boys off the playground. I'll admit, I did use the old, "let's go get ice cream now" bit. Partly because I knew it would work, and partly because I thought ice cream sounded good and would be fun.

Parmesan panko crusted chicken nuggets and roasted cauliflower

I didn't really want exactly what was in my box. So I used some of the ingredients and mixed it up.

That was my favorite meal out of that box.  But they sent a bunch of spinach!

I didn't feel like salad. So I cut up the chicken into bites. Mixed some panko with the parmesan and garlic powder. Coated the chicken and baked it. it turned out really good

Busy but fun day. Took DS to the trampoline play place. He bounced all over the trampolines and played in the bounce house/slide for awhile. We were there about a half hour when an older boy (probably around 6 or 7) showed up and took a liking to DS. He engaged DS in a game of chase and they ran between the trampolines and the bounce house/slide. At one point, DS laid down on one of the trampolines and the older boy bounced him real good. DS was laughing his little butt off.

We went to lunch. DS is at the point where he doesn't much like high chairs so we have a new rule when we eat out. He can sit in a booster seat unless he chooses to misbehave. If he chooses to misbehave, he goes into a high chair. He knows this and, thus far, has behaved real well.

Had to go shopping. DS wanted to push the cart so DH let him help push. We like going to Winco since we get to bag our own groceries. DS likes to put everything on the conveyor belt to the cashier then runs over to push the button that moves the conveyor belt to get the groceries from the cashier to us. Got some good deals on meat too - 4 meals for under $10. But the best deal was from Costco. 60 eggs for $5.99!

Got home and DS made a beeline for the playground and ended up being out there for over an hour. Not sure where he found the energy but he did.
