DH and I need to do the Easter project for his work tonight. The other people on his team have flaked so far. Lazy butts. DH's boss is rather disgusted with the rest of DH's team and said that if any prizes won belong to us and we don't have to share.

DS is at his Grandma's for the next couple days. I'm sure he will have lots of fun. Grandpa bought him some new trucks, which I'm sure DS will be more than happy to run through the dirt and fill with all sorts of stuff.

Corgi is on my last nerve. The only time he wants to sit with me is when I have food. He keeps trying to climb all over me. I just want to eat my dinner. And he just unplugged my phone and drug it across the room.

You must have fed him once or more from your dinner plate.  Shame on you!

They are! And they love "borrowing" him. Of course, DS loves the spoiling that goes on. He manages to do something no one else can do - get Grandpa to open his wallet.

They also love his helpfulness. He makes his Grandma's coffee in the mornings. He knows not to touch the pot but he does everything else. He also unloads her dishwasher and helps her with laundry. He helps out at home with the dishwasher and laundry too. I didn't know toddlers had such a penchant for helping out. We never asked him to. He just does it and we went with it.

Now I feel bad. He's been pacing and panting for the last 20 minutes. I dont think he feels well. He won't lay down.

It's very normal for toddlers to "help". DGS who is 16 months loves to help too. Sometime the "help" is more work then not though, lol. Glad he is having fun at the grandparents house and giving you guys a break. smile

I don't know. He hasn't eaten anything weird that I know of. He's sat down a couple times, briefly, but he'll jump like he saw something/got poked and then resume walking circles around the room.

Oh I don't like DS' "help" ... Definitely more work than not, lol! Especially when I still want whatever I'm using. Like my fork. I may want seconds. I do not want my fork put in the sink.

But, when he's actually helping, it's a dream come true. When we're cooking, he will run and fetch ingredients and utensils. Laundry is quickly becoming his domain. He can't reach the dryer yet (the washer/dryer in our apartment is the stackable kind) but he has pretty good aim getting the clothes from the washer to the dryer. Once he can read, I can teach him what setting to use. Right now, I just show him the arrow then show him where he needs to turn the knob to.

Hmmm. Has he ever done that before? Is a storm coming?

I have binge watched Grease, Open Season 3, and the new James Bond movie. My brain is mush.

I don't think there is a storm coming. And I never remember him doing this. We just went outside and spent probably 20 minutes just walking around. He ate his dinner. He's drinking water (but not excessively). His belly is not sore or hard or swollen. He did squat to poop earlier and then just jumped back up. And He just won't sit still.

I'm sorry DG.  Having a dog is like having a baby.  You can tell when something is just not right but you cannot tell what.  I hope he gets better.

Maybe the walk tired him out. He's actually laying on his bed. I'm on the couch. This means I am not moving. I'll sleep here if i have to

He doesn't seem to be in pain. we went outside at about 3, and he pooped, a little. Then more of the walking. He did lay down a few times for extended periods, so hopefully that's progress. But I am one tired corgi mamma today
