Michigan State got screwed. No way Virginia should have gotten a #1.
Witchita State having to play in is BS, also. So is Syracuse getting in at all.
Oregon got a weak bracket, North Carolina got a particularly tough one. Not very fair, there, either.
Virginia's bracket is no cake-walk, either--but then they have to face Michigan State (if they both get that far) to go to the final four, who will likely knock them out, so that is at least a bit of karma.
There are always complaints to be made--but I think the committee did a poor job, overall, this year. Sure, some upsets in the mid-major tournaments made things tough as they had to take some teams that won their conference tourney but probably didn't have to resume to get in, otherwise, and it forced them to leave out a few teams (St. Mary's, for example) that should be in.
But seriously, Syracuse? No way should they have gotten in. Hopefully, Witchita State will bounce Vandy in the play-in game, but if not, Vandy even getting a shot was a gift. They should not be in there, either.

Well, I could agree with you--but then we'd both be wrong.
Butler gave me a bit of a scare last night, but I think they got a good seed. So excited to watch them play. Seriously, if CBS wants good reactions to the selection, they need to forget the teams and watch the Alumni. I almost cried in relief.
Rock Chalk! Looking forward to my two days off to enjoy the first week. Hopefully we make it to the Sweet 16 this year. Butler and Duke get my betting money
