LOL! I had a rough night last night so I hope I do better tonight. I'm pretty excited, my dd and my grandgirls are coming back to the states for good the end of may.

If it is not too nosy (and it probably is) have they been living overseas or visiting for a short term? Depending on the answer and the country they have been in, they may need to readjust to the US. LOL

Yes LL, my dd is real excited  about  being  back for the election  year.wink

They will be surprised by what they end up having to adjust to.  It's not the big things, b/c you expect that.  It's the little day to day stuff you don't think about.  Like men mowing the lawn shirtless.  And VERY strange things happened to my body the first two weeks back after living in Japan for 2 years.

Yay, Lindley! So glad you will have your DD and DGD's back in the states! No more missing out on watching the girls grow! And now they get to enjoy their little cousin too!

Been up and going for awhile already. Gosh, I hate the time change. HDD was very grumpy this morning..

House cleaning day today. Oh joy..

Yes they will. My baby granddaughter never experienced cold weather before so it is good they will be back at the beginning of summer so it wouldn't be a shock to their bodies.

It will be nice getting to see them more often. Two hours by plane is easier then 28 hours travel time.

I am feeling better thanks.  They are assorted German cookies but really I don't think they are any different than assorted Pepperidge Farms cookies.  I had one pirouette & one layered wafer cookie with chocolate filling.

Mmm...cookies

It is a dreary, overcast and rainy day. I am working so have a moment to say hello to everyone!

Been busy the last few days. Ran the Lodge's Kids DJ/Karaoke party on Sunday afternoon. It went well and we are now in the black for expenses so I will be able to donate to a charity after the next one, probably in May.

DB and SIL came down for that and stayed thru yesterday. They brought me a dozen eggs from their chickens. Eight are regular size and four are pretty small, almost like a quails egg but not quite that small. We had some of the regular ones, yummy!

Had an appointment with my Allergist/Immunologist yesterday too. We are going to stop the daily medication and try to wean me off the one a month shots (one in each arm). Or at least, try to extend how often I need them. I have been hive free and no other reaction for over three months.

No calls from the job fair but I don't expect there to be any. There was nothing that would be a good fit for what I would like to be doing. But it was good experience.

The day is getting better for me.

It's 73 but has a real feel of 78.

Going up to 82.

I need to make some cookies.

Busy busy weekend becoming a busy week. We took DS to Rawhide on Sunday. He had a lot of fun. It was hilarious watching him run after the animals in the petting zoo. He would pet one for awhile then it would walk away to get water, eat, etc. and he would run after with his arm outstretched as if to say 'wait, I was petting you' - so funny to watch! He's a walking bruise again. He will not stop running when he's approaching a step so he'll either manage to get his legs high enough to clear the step or collide with it. He did a lot of colliding at Rawhide and is scraped up and bruised. Ah well, he'll heal.

We do work with him on stopping to step up but it hasn't sunk in yet. Maybe someday it will. He just likes getting a running start, I guess. He does the same thing with the couch too. Will run at it, collide, and clamber up without ever truly stopping.

Spent yesterday with my in-laws. FIL was actually nice yesterday, which was awesome. DH and I left DS with him and MIL and went to see London Has Fallen. Great movie. We had dinner at my in-laws. DS fell asleep during dinner and stayed that way. We got home, put him in bed, and he was out cold. Not even a whimper.

OMG!! I just made a huge mistake. So I went to get hair dye. I forget the number on the box. A couple years ago it used to go by color and not number. I still remember the color but not the number. They used to have a chart out so you could find out. I made the mistake of asking the sales girl for help. She was very helpful and even called the corporate lady to find out the right color. So while she's on hold we're making small talk. She tells me she's hungry and has to plan dinner for her family. I tell her I'm making fried chicken. She says that sounds good. I tell her I love to cook. Small talk. So I show her a picture of the dinner I made last night. And here's where I went terribly wrong. She whips out her phone and starts showing me her VACATION pictures and all the food they ate there. She's saying, And there's my kids, and this is the water ride, and Oh this is the Polynesian restaurant we went to. That's Polynesian chicken I had. This is my Subway wrap...

That was my clerk at Wal-Mart yesterday (without the pictures). She commented on every single thing I bought, and nothing was that interesting.

(And they did not even carry purple tie-dye socks, so my trip was in vain!)

DH and I both loved it. It's the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen. If you liked Olympus, you'll like London.

I don't know if you two mind spoilers or not so I don't know how much to say. I actually like spoilers so I'm not the best judge of what exactly is a spoiler.
