Why I like flying southwest, the employees are always so happy to be at work. Guy just makes an announcement "folks, we have an oversell situation. Which means I have 144 seats and 145 people who want to go. I need someone to help me out (insert alternate flight details), cause well, they've been trying to fire me for years and I'm trying to avoid that. Who's going to help a brother out?"

The guy who checked me in asked if I had my boarding pass, yes, on my phone. He goes, are you sure? Because I've been doing this for 13 years and people say they have it, then they go around the corner and get in trouble with TSA and all of a sudden it's MY fault they left it on the coffee table.

Since spring has sprung here early, the little sparrows have built their nest already. They are not happy that I do not have the hanging plants up yet for them to build their nest so they built it in the rain gutters. They will not be happy when DH cleans it out.

During the blizzard I had a little bird that took shelter on my covered porch.  They don't stick around normally because of the cats.

I have this PIA bluebird that keeps trying to come in the house. She follows me around the house and pecks on the window of whichever room I am in. My mother thinks it's my MIL.

LOL.  That is odd.  It reminds me of the video a few years ago of the Canadian goose that followed some guy's car home.  I think people said that the bird had imprinted on him or some term like that.

I'll loan you Desmond if you want.  He's a good hunter.

Blue bird? As in a blue jay? Blue Jays can be vicious.

We have bluebirds here too Lily.  They are small maybe the size of robins & I think basically harmless.  I've heard blue jays can be nasty but I've never seen one.

Blue jays are nasty. I had one cat- Ivan would take them out. They'd all squawk when I let him out and zoom at him. Umm, stupid birds. He'd kill one everyday.

RTL, sending good thoughts your way!

LL, ooowwww, sparkly nipple tags!!! I forgot to take one off once, it migrated to my tummy, little one tickled my tummy and ended up with an odd do-hicky on his finger. He kept asking what it was, how do you tell a 4 year old what that is?

DG, have an awesome vaca!!!

I have spent most of the day going through old pictures, looking for pictures of mom for her 80th birthday party on Saturday. I have had more fun looking through the books!!! And then my sisters tell me they forgot to do the same! Now what? &%$#&@*

I forgot to take the van in for it's scheduled oil change. They called me and wanted it.... &%*$#* I had to hitch a ride home. Then DH came and got the pickup so now I'm am totally wheel-less.

It's a great Wednesday. ;)

We had a blue jay that lived in a tree at the edge of the property. The county cut the tree down and I don't know where it went.

We have cardinals in the winter.

We get little yellow birds and little green birds. I think they are wild parakeets.

 Nope.

I can't see anything wrong and it drives okay. But when I hit a bump or the wind blows, it rattles.

The rattle is worse then the crumple. Hope you can get it checked soon.

My BIL just called to tattle on DH. Apparently he has called DH 3 (!) times today and 'Usually *Dh's name* will at least make time for me and call me back if he's busy'.

Um, what do you want me to do about it? He's a work. Apparently he is busier than usual and hasn't had a chance to make time for you yet. Seriously.

What a coincidence!  My mom's 85th is Saturday, all 5 siblings and 8 of 9 grandchildren are taking her out for lunch ( can't do late dinners anymore!) plus a few of her friends.  The only grandchild that won't be there is DS since he lives in Oh.  He has sent her cards and gifts.

For her 80th we had a very swanky party at the Country Club, it was great.

So had to take DD12 in for her well visit today and to get her shots. Since this round of vaccinations is for 11-12 year olds, I let her wait until she was 12. I didn't tell her when her appointment was b/c she is soooooo afraid of shots, she would have been worrying and dreading and just working herself up into a tizzy. I just picked her up from school and took her.

So, I had myself all geared up for a fight with the doctor over declining the Gardisal shot. I just want to wait a little longer - I'm thinking 14. And guess what? No fight at all. Doctor agreed with me. But told me not to tell anyone she agreed with me. LOL.
