No way. You need to get out of your little enclave once in a while. He is NOT popular outside of college towns and Northeast metros. He does well among the young demographic, but has decreasing support at all age levels after that. He would get trounced in the general election.

One thing I heard about Bernie that was very interesting was that he appeals to all these college kids. And he goes to where they are to talk to them. And they are all fired up because he is THERE. But when the big November election comes a lot of them will be on college holidays and back in their home towns and they don't think they will care enough about politics to leave their vacation and go vote.

What college holidays are in the beginning of November? These college kids like him because they think everything is going to be free... including their education. lol!

None that I know of. That's pretty much class time - the first Tuesday in November. They might have veterans day off at some schools, but that's not until November 11th.

However, many of them will have to remember to get absentee ballots or go home, because their voter registration will be at home, not at school. I rarely voted while in college because of this.
