Driving DD to her college pre-frosh day. She will meet with her advisors, schedule classes, and meet her roommate. The team typically rooms together and she and one of the other girls have already chosen each other as roommates. They have been online chatting for a weeks already. I am excited about going - not excited about the drive we have ahead of us. 10 hours one way. Through Chicago traffic. And construction.

We're just expecting 1-3 Sunday, mostly on the grass. We'll see.

Another reason I don't wear jammies at home. What if someone comes to the door? And I do like to go outside in my garden. Although in the AM I don't care if my neighbors see me in my sleepwear, I would be embarrassed to be seen in it at noon.

I got the call at 7:30 a.m. on my day off. No time to change since I had to ready the room the wood was put into.

When I know something is going to be delivered, I try to be dressed and ready early. I learned the hard way, when the plumbing company showed up at 7 to drop off fixtures, etc., when we had our bathrooms remodeled. And having dated a contractor, I know they like to get an early start because they need daylight to work.

DS is a bit sour this morning. Mostly because he wants to go outside but can't since DH will be done with his morning shift soon and we'll be having lunch. But, try explaining time to a 2 year old.

Pajamas and visitors. When I'm home, I'm in my PJs. I don't give a single rip if someone sees me in my PJs. Granted, my PJs are a tank top and shorts. The most I ever do is make sure the pair I have isn't holey if we're having visitors.

Aaron woke up with a sore throat. I mean you can actually see a sore on it. So picked up the stuff for magic mouthwash this morning on the way to school.

Snow? What? Geez. We are at 80 right now but it's supposed to be 60 and raining tomorrow. Please say a prayer that it stays pretty.

I generally get dressed before leaving my room in the morning. It's rare for me to be in sleeping clothes of any kind out side of my room. Unless I am sick or wake up hurting, then I will go sit in my chair sometimes.

I need a nap.

Have you tried Applebee's Asian chicken salad?

I love it, but usually get fried chicken, so it's NOT low in fat.

DS just called and he was fortunate enough to have someone pick up his work shift so he can come! I am so grateful! Otherwise I would have been going up alone since DH can't come now. Phew!

I want to go out but it's cold and windy, and the only places to go are stores and I already went shopping and spent money this morning, plus, like I said, my kids are playing well and I don't want to disrupt that. What's a girl to do?

DH and I picked up SS and went to the store to get strawberries that were on sale. There was a mom there in a yoga outfit, so you know she was a horrible person to begin with wearing that in public, but she had three kids. She spent the whole time we were there on the phone while her kids were running through the store screaming at each other at the top of their lungs and lobbing oranges at each other. They also dumped a whole row of cereal boxes onto the floor. The mom was too busy on her cell phone to even give the MM stare to.
