Meanwhile, in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program, Mr. Trump described himself as the person he listens to most on foreign policy.
“I’m speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things,” Mr. Trump said.
He went on, “My primary consultant is myself and I have — you know, I have a good instinct for this stuff.” He rejected labels of his foreign policy views as “neo-isolationist,” as an earlier guest on the show described it.
Donald J. Trump warned of “riots” around the Republican National Convention should he fall slightly short of the 1,237 delegates he needs to clinch the nomination and the party moves to select another candidate.
The remark from Mr. Trump, in an interview on CNN’s “New Day,” came less than 12 hours after he won the Republican primaries in Florida, Illinois and North Carolina and extended his delegate lead to roughly 200 over his closest competitor, Senator Ted Cruz.
The front-runner, who has alternated between saying he wants to unite the party and savaging his rivals and critics, predicted a “natural healing process” in the party once the primaries end and the Republican convention takes place in Cleveland beginning on July 18.
“I think we’ll win before getting to the convention, but I can tell you, if we didn’t and if we’re 20 votes short or if we’re 100 short and we’re at 1,100 and somebody else is at 500 or 400, because we’re way ahead of everybody, I don’t think you can say that we don’t get it automatically,” Mr. Trump said. “I think it would be — I think you’d have riots. I think you’d have riots. I’m representing a tremendous, many, many millions of people.”
He added: “If you disenfranchise those people and you say, well I’m sorry but you’re 100 votes short, even though the next one is 500 votes short, I think you would have problems like you’ve never seen before. I think bad things would happen, I really do. I believe that. I wouldn’t lead it but I think bad things would happen.”
The comments came days after Mr. Trump was the subject of widespread criticism for his violent words against protesters at his rallies. His event in Chicago on Friday night was canceled as his supporters and people protesting him scuffled inside a University of Illinois at Chicago arena.
While Mr. Trump is on course to have the most delegates by the end of the nominating contests in June, many of the party’s donors and elected officials are panicked about the impact of a Trump nomination on the party and on races further down on the ballot, such as Senate and House contests. That dynamic sets up the potential for people to attack the person with the greatest probability of winning the nomination over the next three months.

But Mr. Trump, who has advocated for using torture methods against prisoners and said he wants to wipe out the Islamic State while also suggesting putting 20,000 to 30,000 troops in Syria, made clear he is in no rush to say who he is talking to beyond taking his own counsel.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
He said it a couple days ago when he was being pressed on foreign policy. Press went crazy. Since then he has released a list of names.
He has talked about his foreign policy ideas and way ahead for awhile now; months perhaps a year even. Even talked about how dangerous the policies France, London, and Brussels have and how it would make it easy for bombings on those cities, he was called a racist and bigot. This was during an interview, one of many he has done to get calmly get his message about his ideas and specific plans out there. I figured with all the research you said you did you would have stumbled upon a few of those interviews.

Are you disputing my comment? You believed half a comment without researching the entire transcript. And you base your vote on stuff like this. What did i say that was incorrect?

And each have had terrorist bombings.
People may not like him, but he knows more about foreign policy than "you".

Dona's original post wanted to know if it was out of context. I'm not sure what you are continuing to argue, flan.
Someone read the OP...
flan
Evidently not you...
Then HOW did I find the exact quote she asked about?
flan
flan, you didn't answer the bigger part of the question. The bigger part of the question was whether it was out of context, and you didn't bother to determine if it was the whole quote. Which is actually very excusable - it's was refusing to acknowledge that the article did, in fact, edit out the rest of the context once you were given that information, and continually refusing to understand you posted a link to the wrong article. You were so caught up in arguing, you couldn't even see what you were arguing about.

Which is a huge problem with today's voters and/or citizens. They are satisfied to hear the snippets they get from the media and think that must be how that person is. They do not dive deeper, which would be fine if they were not casting ballots with that thinking. As I keep saying, the Dem and Repub establishments along with the media are controlling you and your line of thinking if you do not do independent analysis for yourself. Trump supporters get this.

So, it was actually refreshing that Dona ASKED. And why it was frustrating to have such misinformation perpetuated.

And in case you haven't noticed, the media is attempting to control this election. Just look at their ridiculous misleading headlines.
And it looks like Hillary has fallen out of favor, they are focusing a lot on how she should suspend her campaign, be indicted, etc. And that's the liberal media.

IKWTDS, the major news networks stated your comment today. I was shocked.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
The part I was asking about was the "I have a very good brain, and have said lots of things."
It just. . . Really? Yes, he DID go on to say that he talks with other people that he would reveal when appropriate (why not during that interview? ????) but he still said that he consults with himself primarily.
I don't recognize the names of the people he named as advisors. Are they any good?

Thank you, Dona. I stumbled across the story while looking for something else and wanted you to know that you DID hear that part correctly.

You're right.
It gave me something else to focus on when I needed the distraction.
