Bernie won two states last night, but you wouldn't know it to listen to the radio. Or to read the news. All there is out there is a bunch of blather about how Hilary won Arizona. No mention of the other two states, or that Bernie took home more delegates, except for little blurbs at the bottom of the page.
The media is just all over the place. Headline today is calling McConnell a liar. Don't know if it's true - their articles are so ridiculous, it's hard to believe anything they write these days.

Knee isn't as bad this morning. Still feeling the pain medicine I had to take. Still using a crutch. But it is better.
Monster is full of beans this morning.
New episode of my show tonight.
Life is good.
Happy Wednesday ya'll!

I think it would be healthier (for me, at least) to take a short vacation from the media!
We got dumped on by a spring storm last night. It was 60 yesterday and today it's all snow, slush and muck. And they didn't even have the decent y to cancel school.
Jojo said her nose was hurting last night, so I questioned her and determined her sinuses were bothering her - pollen is so bad. So I gave her some benedryl, and boy was she dragging this morning.

It was 60 here yesterday and today they are forecasting a foot of snow. My head is killing me because of the weather change. Took the morning off. But the reality is I will end up working 12 hours anyway.

I am one of those people who will drive around with their low fuel light on. Last night I had 10 miles left in the tank according to my dashboard so I had to fill up. The closest gas station was out of high grade so I decided I'd put a few gallons of mid grade in to make it home. The push codes on the pump wouldn't work when I tried to enter my zip code so left. There are several gas stations within blocks. The next gas station I had to make a left hand turn & traffic was too heavy so I decided to skip it & go on to the next. When I pulled up to the next one several pumps had red bags on the handles announcing out of order. I went to one that wasn't marked & it too was out of order. I finally found one of two pumps that worked. I think the universe may have been trying to tell me not to cut it so close next time. I was beginning to panic.

Don't worry Lex, I've driven about 10 miles on "0 miles to empty" before. No worries!

I do the same thing. I've got a quarter tank right now.
NAOW is sending her snow storm over to our area!! We have the high wind and it's started to rain. It will turn to snow later this morning or early afternoon. 4-7 inches of the white stuff is expected.
Mother Nature is in her menopausal phase. ;)
Good morning!

Ooh, sorry. Its the heavy, wet spring snow too. I hope it melts quickly.
LL I've only ever once let it get to zero miles to empty & I was in a full blown panic.
I didn't mean to. I noticed I was at 1 mile to empty when I got to work, and knew I had to fill up immediately when I left. But then I was running late to pick up the kids, didn't think about it, and just drove all the way to their school 10 miles away. When we got back in the car, I noticed the gas tank, and held my breath until we pulled into the gas station down the street. Fumes, I tell you.

I'm so glad you made it. Imagine running out with the girls in the car.
Lexxy, you are awesome! You push the limit and I like that. I have been left stranded out in the country for not checking the gas gauge..
Now that MIGHT be fun if DH was with me...
flan
I had to walk to a farm over a mile away to get help. (blushing)
DH was not happy with me.
Yikes! Here I wouldn't have to walk a mile to find people but it's questionable whether anyone would answer the door. I never do.
Out here the doors are not locked during the day. Luckily the farm family was home, doing chores and they let me use their phone without question. Then they got a gallon of gas from their farm tank and put it in my car. Good thing I had a few dollars to pay for their gas. I had over 20 miles to drive to get home and to the gas station. That one gallon barely got me home. DH was waiting for me when I got back. He would have come out to find me if I hadn't made it back to town.
And once I was on the highway, someone would have stopped to help if I had run out of gas again.

You live in a nice town. Here people aren't so much unfriendly as they are wrapped up in their own lives & not sure if they can trust strangers.
I've run out of gas just once. It was back in HS. My brother was with me & he walked to his friend's house. They took his gas can & got gas. Neither of them were old enough to drive so his friend drove him back on the riding lawnmower.

LOL! People use riding lawnmowers for transportation all the time around here. The occasional golf cart too!
Glad you had help and that it has happened only once to you.

Was always told it would mess up the fuel injectors if it ran out.
But I never was one to let it get low anyway.
I never want to be in a situation of having to wait for someone on the side of the road.

Super high pollen count + windy weather = I'm dyiiiiing. Whine, etc. The weather is crazy this year.
It sure is nuts! And annoying!
I ran out of gas once. No twice. I don't take a chance anymore.

I can't keep up with all these threads. How does everyone do it?
