How much longer for you, SB?

Went to bed 3 1/2 hours ago - now I'm wide awake for who knows how long.
This is NOT the way to get meaningful rest.

Heading out for work shortly. I am on the hunt for a new puppy. Probably looking at a minigolden doodle. Or, i found a mixed yorkie, bichon cutie as well. However, i am not keen on the terrier breed as they are more nervous and tend to bark more.

I also need a new badminton/volleyball net. I am tired of cheap plastic crap and flimsy nets. The badminton nets are shorter, only like 5 feet or so and not as long, 21 ft. However, we have been playing badmintion with a big net which is higher so kind of used to that height. But, the volleyball nets are pretty big, like 32 ft long. And, i want something of good quality with metal poles. Think i will get on Amazon.

School holiday today. And our landscapers are coming. I think. I wrote down the date, but can't find where I put it. #2 was there when I scheduled it, and he said today's the day. So I'm relying on my 7 year old's memory. Anyway, there are little flags out on the lawn, so he's probably right.

Morning! It is a rainy, overcast day.

Meds are working and I am feeling a bit better this morning because of antibiotics and that Azo stuff. I feel a little hungover from it. No I did not have any alcohol but it feels like I did. Plenty of fluids being taken in. On a regular day, I get between 110-150 oz of liquid in. Trying for between 150-200 to clear this up as quickly as possible.

I need to finish up this assignment for school. I don't know why I have been having so much trouble finishing it.

SB and Momola, Hope you get some rest soon.
NJN, hope Carlee is doing better today
FNW, hope all goes well with the landscaper
IKWTDS, Good luck with the updating/upgrading
LGS, Happy dog hunting and hope you get your new laptops quickly

Let me know how it works for you. The darn upgrade window keeps popping up on my computer and I have to close it out several times while I'm on the computer. Annoying as heck!

I'm afraid of what it will do to my computer..

Its starting out to be a rough week for me. Our warehouse is closing on Friday. That's where G works. It's not so much that he's losing his job, but its the end of an era. We've worked together for 20 years. I can't imagine not working with him. I don't want to think of that building as belonging to another company. I "grew up" maintaining the integrity of our warehouse. Its all very very sad for me...

I don't know.  I'm no teckie.  But I did just have to reset my browser default to Chrome.  Windows tried to force Windows Edge down my throat.

So far, so good, at least better than me.  He's excited about trekking around Canada for a few weeks in May.  Once that wears off, I don't know how he will feel.  He won't "retire", he's not one to sit around and do nothing.  He will find something to do. Hopefully starting a new business will keep him busy.

I feel a confrontation coming on here at work. My boss is out of control. I'm not the only one that is having issues with him today. He's "delegating", which is fine, but we do not have the resources to work on what he is delegating. This is a culmination of years of having to be in control and in the know on everything. We've been trying to tell him all this time to step away and let us handle things. But being the control freak he is, he always had to be involved. Now he's passing off stuff that we aren't even systematically able to do. It takes time for the Operations Unit to set us up with access to programs and hoops have to be jumped through. He wants it done TODAY (or we will actually miss a release). It's ain't gonna get done today. Too many people need to sign off and it usually takes about 3 business days.

Since my Lasik, I only need reading glasses. I've found some of the cutest designs on zulily. They even come with cases.

I have a pair in my purse, 2 pairs at work, a pair near my laptop and a pair on my nightstand.
