 Thanks flan and jlbear.  She had a couple seizures last night.  I knew it was going to be a rough night.  Layla refused to sleep in our bedroom.  She hid in DS's room but wasn't happy.  She is acting very clinging to DH right now.  At one point we gave Carlee a shot and it was horrible.  She whined and cried and couldn't walk.  We didn't know what she wanted.  I gave her a little bit of treats in my hand and she was so dopey and uncoordinated she accidentally bit my hand.  Then she drank water and peed on the bed.  Thank goodness we have waterproof pads down.  Anyway, right now she's sleeping soundly next to me.  I think the rest of the day she will probably, hopefully, just sleep.  Maybe the new meds will kick in soon.

I hope both of you find some relief for those UTI's.  They are miserable.

My husband has the worst shoes. He basically only wears white tennis shoes and it drives me nuts. I'm making him buy a nice pair of brown loafers for a wedding and he's being a pain in the azz about it.

 Well, jlbear has at least gone to the doctor!  biggrin  Not to start a flame war here but this is why I don't understand these religions that refuse to use doctors or medicine.  I mean if God made people smart enough to discover antibiotics I would think he would want us to utilize them.  No way would I suffer if there was a way not to.

Oh my!!!

Not sure I could justify that much money at my age. You are young enough that the money would be worth it though. Still a tough decision to make.

 SB, do it in increments over a few years.  Start a Medical Savings account at work so at least the money is deducted pre tax.  I would hold off on the bridge and braces.  Those are high ticket items.  Get the crowns done first, then move onto the fillings.

 Yep, I went to urgent care.  I thought that Flan has an appointment next week with an urologist.

Even the Amish here use the doctors and medicine that is prescribed.  If I am not feeling well, and there is something that would help, I am willing to try.  I don't take medicine at the drop of a hat, most times I won't take a tylenol for a headache.  But when I need it, absolutely I will take it.

SB, sounds like you should have a second opinion.  Do you have dental insurance?  I had fillings replaced on all my molars and it cost less than $2,500.  It costs about $250-300 per tooth. And my dentist is not cheap.  I realize that most dental insurance plans are more of a discount plan (My company sells the plans).  I would also check out some of the local University's Dental Schools if you need all that work done.
