Nothing wrong with that. The dental school I went to was the best experience I've ever had with dental work. So much so that I was the patient for three of the students' exams.

How do you expect students to learn their trade?

Remember, your dentist was once a student too.

You had a good experience. DH didn't.

End of story.

No. It's not the end of the story. How do you expect students to learn their trade?

Your dentist was once a student too. He/she is only so good BECAUSE they were able to get plenty of practice on people. Experience is the best teacher.

To me, it looks like he did have a good experience, but you couldn't accept that could you?

DH went to a dental school for years...until I finally convinced him that his teeth were too important to let students work on.

Why did he go for years if it was such a bad experience?  Why did you have to convince him to change?

It's the end of the story for me.

We often disagree.

Oh, wait...MY dentist was once a student too! That changes everything...
