Yes my appliances seems to have it in for me! I'm not happy one bit. The washer might be barely 10 years old.

I am off to meet with my board pres and VP this morning. They are a little too relaxed for me, they need to step it up.

After that it's back home to make some dinners for the week. I would rather do it today than each night during the week. I have a feeling I won't get home until late after having been out all week.

I'm enjoyed the blessed silence that comes with one's toddler going on an outing with family. He woke up with brat mode fully engaged so his grandpa and uncle are going to have SO much fun with him.

Oh he absolutely will. That's his modus operandi.

When DH and I were on vacation last week, it took him almost a week to show his brat side to his grandparents. But when he did, oh brother! I laughed hard when my grandma told me what all he had done.

I've done grocery shopping, put half the spare bedroom back together, cleaned the grill inside and out! Next I have on more errand to do. Hoping to get another power walk in. Trying to be active most of the day.

How many "bookworms" are in a bowl? (with layers of "dirt" in between)

Hope they like it.

And, yes, the winner gets the entire bowl + a prize bag.

We got rained out half way through our Adopt-a-highway project. One minute the sun was shining, and the next we were drenched!
Now we'll have to find another Saturday when most of us are available.
Its both sides of the highway, for just over a mile, and I couldn't believe the amount of trash that was strewn about. Over 30 HUGE bags!
And we didn't even put the tires or boards in the bags.
Can you imagine what we might have collected if we had had the full morning?

My blue jays are back!! I haven't seen them all winter. Some migrate south and some don't.
Some only migrate every two years.
In any case, I'm glad to see them. I feed peanuts to the squirrels, and was surprised to see them swoop in and steal peanuts from under their noses.

I saw one where the people had put three tires on top of each other and then painted it like bricks. They added a canopy top and bucket and it looked just like a well. It was cute. The had plants growing in the well and the bucket.

It's easy for me. Our recycling center takes them. You may have neighbors that want a tire swing, though. Do you have one of those facebook groups to give or sell stuff locally?
