She survived her first driving-while-texting accident – but not her second

Instead of this is heartbreaking BUT.... Why not just say, this is heartbreaking? Because it is. However, if someone missteps in your orderly world of perfection, then oh well tough schit you deserved it you dumbarse.

This is sad. I can't imagine the loss her family is feeling.

Lots of times, if I had an accident, I would be charged with texting and driving.

Not because I am, but because one of the kids is using my phone texting.

I know that isn't the case here. I was just thinking.

It is heartbreaking - but also completely and totally unavoidable.  It was a senseless death.  And the only thing it serves as is a lesson to others.

She didn't learn - hopefully some other kid will learn from her death.

They won't though. Sure they will cry and such over their friend's death but they will go right back out there and text while driving.

Because, when you're young, it can never happen to you!

If my phone rings when I'm driving, I don't even answer the dang thing.

Because there is a "But".  But it was her second accident.  But by the grace of God she didn't kill someone else.  But for a very preventable action, it never would have happened.

no one really "deserves" to die in a terrible car accident, but this was preventable.  Would a drunk driver get much sympathy for his actions?
