Sounds good to me!  Hope everyone's day is dry and hump day goes well.  We have a couple of appointments today.

Yay, it's Wednesday. Half way done for the week.

Need to dust and vacuum today.

It's going to be a bright, bright, sun shiny day.

Two questions have arisen from today's Target run -

1. WHY do people think having a private conversation while walking through Target is a good idea? I mean, I get the basic conversations, but this woman was talking about her boyfriend, or ex, his lack of a job and how she isn't putting up with that **** anymore. Her colorful description of his laziness actually cracked me up, but I couldn't believe I was privy to that conversation.

2. WHY do I have such a love for little miniature items? I found the CUTEST mini pot of Aquaphor - I had the same reaction to the mini pots of vaseline. Just too flippin' cute! Americans love minis.

Obviously this is NOT just limited to Target. Does the fact of putting a cell phone to one's ear give the illusion that NO ONE else can hear YOU?

The first my guess is they are so self absorbed they don't notice the people around them or worse don't care.

The second I don't know the answer but I love all things mini too.

Grrr - I've bought boxed sets of DVDs where that has happened.  To this day I still don't know what happened with Booth & Hannah on Bones.  That disk malfunctioned & I haven't caught those 3-4 episodes in repeat.

If you tell me where you are & where it picks up I can try to fill you in.

A third question - how does one stop eating tic tacs before the whole container is gone? It's worse than potato chips.

Have you tried a different player?  Some dvd players don't like certain discs - learned that from Blockbuster when they were still around.  I always try in a different player first and it usually works.  Of course, that's not an option if you only have one dvd player.  If your computer has a disc player, though, you can try that.

 1. I think it's like people who pick their nose in the car.

2. Because we are so inundated with "grande, super, and mega" everything, it's refreshing to see tiny and we realize we don't need the bigger ones.

I only have the one & that is the only disk it has ever had a problem with.  Actually now that I think about it the downstairs TV has a built in DVD player but I never watch TV in the basement.  I know it sounds weird but I'm a little freaked out when I'm in the basement.  There is no reason.  It is on grade, has a sliding glass door & full sized windows all around.  I have always just been uncomfortable down there.

I'd go down and just try the disk.  If it plays, you can bring the TV upstairs long enough to watch the disk.  It's not like you use it down there, anyway.  biggrin

I love our basement.  It's feels cozier and safer.  Of course, my basement is finished like a house, not a basement.  I can't believe what those people before did in this basement.  Cracks me up.  How many basements do you know that have crown molding and granite countertops.  They WAAAAYYYYYY overdid it.  But, yay for me!

I mean, practically no library near me owns the book, much less the audio version.

p.s. And by "audio," I mean CD's.

1.9 calories per tic tac, 60 tic tacs per container.  So, 114 calories.  It could be worse, I guess.  I don't buy them often.

What we have is a ridiculous amount of TVs.  Send me the disc, I'll try it in all of them.  Before we moved last year, my mother bought each of the girls a TV/DVD player for their rooms.  Then, the people we bought the house from left us two TVs mounted to the walls in the two master bedrooms, plus we had ours.  Our older TVs - we left one behind for the new tenants and took 2 to goodwill.

You have 2 master bedrooms?  That is unusual.

You have a lot more energy than I do LOL.  My basement has crown molding.  Not the 3 piece kind but molding.  I don't have a bar or kitchen so no granite counter tops.  My basement is very pretty & the furniture is comfy.  I'm just a weirdo.  I think has more to do with my main level has 9' ceilings & basement only has regular height.

That is a lot of TVs.  I only have the 2.  I hate a TV in the bedroom.  I need dark & quiet to sleep.

You have 2 master bedrooms?  That is unusual.

I took mine out of the bedroom a long time ago, I don't like it in there either.

The kids didn't have one for a long time.

We have two masters, as well.

Have you tried a different player?  Some dvd players don't like certain discs - learned that from Blockbuster when they were still around.  I always try in a different player first and it usually works.  Of course, that's not an option if you only have one dvd player.  If your computer has a disc player, though, you can try that.

2nd one is in the basement directly under ours.  It was finished for an in-law suite.  Complete master bedroom with master bath, kitchen, family room, powder room, rec room.  It would be a completely separate unit if it had a laundry room.

I hope you like your in-laws.  I can see your future when they can't live on their own.

My mom didn't want to buy a particular house because it had a separate in-law cottage.  Then she ended up with her MIL living with her any way.  And she stayed for 8 long years after my dad had died.  She's in a home now because she can't be left home alone anymore.

Don't buy the flavor changing ones.  They're good.

Lay a line of salt at the doors and windows, burn sage.

That's going to stop a Bad Guy?

With rape or murder on his mind? Just some salt and sage?

Good to know.

Welp. I guess I am potty training DD1. She has been taking her diaper off for weeks as soon as it's wet, and it's getting harder and harder to put one back on her (and then she takes it right back off) and I don't want to fight with her. Wish me luck.

I think she meant  it tongue  and cheek. Some people  believe using sage and salt keeps  evil spirits out.

Perhaps we should ask Lexxy why she's uncomfortable in the basement.
Is it bad guys who can see in the big windows, or evil spirits?

It'd be so much easier for all ya'll to get my references if you'd just watch Supernatural.
