I saw a post on FB that cracked me up. It was on an exchange site. Someone is offering a box of rocks for free. Picture is included of the rocks.

 We have one of those up in Minneapolis at the U of M. It bloomed in February. I wanted to try and get up to see it but I wasn't able to. I'm bummed.

 Well, let's hope it's not one of the corpse plants which bloom every 7 to 10 years.

You can always go to Sumatra, to see them up close and personal. That would probably be better. You could also play with the monkeys.

Monkeys made me remember.

I was at work several years ago, working a stressful evening shift in the drive thru.

I was "in the zone" and threw the window open, spouted the price and without paying attention, took the money.

I was putting it in the drawer when my brain registered what I saw.

A tiny, little monkey hand had given me the money.

She was so cute in a little yellow sun dress and diaper.

The woman had gotten her from a relative. I can't remember her name.

She had a special made car seat and had the sweetest disposition.

That was odd but it sure lifted my spirits.
