 LL hates GMO's and Monsanto pretty much invented them.  Yeah they have developed some of the most deadly poisons as a defense contractor but also have launched the research for some of the most beneficial pharmaceuticals.  You can flame them all you want, but then you would also have to flame all the other defense contractors; the bomb makers, the airplane makers that carry those bombs, the bullet proof vest makers, the military boot makers, the makers of RA drugs, Lou Gherig's disease drugs, cancer drugs to include chemo, because Monsanto has their hand in all or at least most of them.

 They have contaminated our food supply so they can sell more poison.  They rig studies and bribe the government or put their own people in government positions of power.  They are corrupt and evil.

 Yes, they have, but with government approval.  They are a R&D company.  Other companies buy their "recipes" and make other stuff.  I get they come off as evil, but no more so than those using their products as a basis for those using them.  Unless you clean with just vinegar, you have some sort of Monsanto product derivative under your kitchen and bathroom sink.  Have a container of 409?  You have a Monsanto based product.  Have Dow oven cleaner?  You have a Monsanto product.  98% of people have Monsanto in their house.

 Well, when they make the head of the FDA and the ADA former Monsanto employees and they BUY approval, what do you expect.  The corruption is one of my biggest reasons for hating them. 

Most of the time I clean with baking soda and vinegar, and I use food grade DE for pest control.  Since learning how crooked they are, I try NOT to buy their products.

And the world's leading POISON maker shouldn't be making our food!

 Not to mention they patent their seed, and then cross contaminate farms and sue farmers for accidentally having their seed as patent infringement. 

 

And the fact that it cross contaminates is bad enough, it can ruin farms that are trying to remain GMO free.

 

Oh - and don't expect the government to do anything about it.  Monsanto has their teeth into the government everywhere.  They even got Michelle Obama to give a speech changing her stance on GMOs.

 Unless you eat organic you are 100% correct - you are eating pesticides. They have even engineered a way to put roundup directly into the crop so they don't have to spray, the weed killer is just IN there. Think about that... 

 

Fyi - in order to be an organic farm, it has to be pesticide free for, I believe 3 years before the farmer can call the crops grown on the farm organic. It's legit. People think "organic" is nothing - but it means pesticide free and that's enough for me. 

People have no idea what big companies are doing to our food. They continue to stick their heads in the ground and not worry about it. It's scary.

I have no doubt that a huge part of the reason why we have an obesity epidemic is due to what is being done to our food. The big companies are chemically altering the food to make you want to eat more of it. They are putting sugar into things like Doritos and crackers - foods that don't need sweeteners and historically have not had sugar in them. Sugar is like cocaine - the exact same reaction occurs in your brain when you eat sugar as a cocaine addict taking a hit. And the big companies are putting it in everything.

 

Mind you, it's ILLEGAL for candidates to accept donations from foreign countries.  Unless, of course, you have a fake foundation.
