Morning my pretties.

It rained!

Today is Senior field day. So I'm predicting lots of sunburns and strange tan lines for prom tomorrow night.

Only 23 school days left this year.

I just need to make it through today & then I am off next week! Yay!

Nope!  I have a bunch of stuff backed up on my DVR that I want to watch.  I need to do some thorough house cleaning.  I might go to the grocery store.  Other than that I plan to relax with a few good books.  Hopefully Bitey will allow me out on the deck to read in the sun. 

Well, today hasn't gone well. I was supposed to have a 9:00 meeting with annoying VP. She didn't even show up at the office until 9:15 - no call, nothing. Then the meeting lasted two hours ugh. Everything I did was wrong apparently. Even though I did what she asked, it was still wrong and I need to fix it.

I also found out today that we are having VIP visitors on Tuesday. Which was supposed to be the day my mother's class is coming for a field trip. So they can't come now. Haven't gotten a chance to tell her yet. And, VP was the one that was supposed to be handling it, said we already had a program to use. Then she stares at me and asks what *I* have planned. Um, you said you had something.....but you can't tell her anything. She has how she remembers things and that's that. No variations. I feel like crying right now.

And the sales manager is taking customer service to lunch. I don't even feel like eating let alone socializing

DG...that's horrible.  I'm sorry... 

I talked to my mom. She's upset, but understood. So I feel a little better having that out of the way. Lunch was fine, good to get away I suppose. I did offer to my mom that myself and a coworker could come to the school and give a presentation on the company, our process and products. She thought that might be interesting. We will see.

I am definitely having a discussion with my supervisor about the allocation of my time. Annoying VP is supposed to get 40% of my time and sales gets the other 60%. I've spent almost all of my time this week with AVP. That cannot continue, I have sales responsibilities I cannot just ignore because it suits her.

 Are you going to have to have it removed?

When my gall bladder failed, I was absolutely miserable. Horrible pain. But, the surgery was quick and recovery was swift.

I took the opportunity while DS was napping to excavate the floor in the living room. I did what I could. Need to vacuum at some point. DS was sound asleep on the couch. I sit back down and it didn't take him long to wake up just long enough to scoot over and put his head on my knee before falling back asleep.

You know how hard it is to find an old church pew under 6 feet long?

Ain't it crazy? Sunday nights it's hard to get to sleep but Friday nights you can't make it past 9.

I'm so ready for bed.

DH and DD are away for the weekend and I am home alone. It's going to be amazing. I bought a bottle of wine and I am cranking up the Netflix. I may not surface until Sunday.
