DH and I passed by a Target yesterday around dinner time while running errands. I was shocked at how empty the parking lot was.

I saw on my FB feed this morning that the FRC has a petition out against Target and it's at 540k signatures. Probably more by now.

Honestly? I didn't think that the empty parking lots were real. I figured people would just keep going. I've been to that Target before and it's usually pretty full. Not yesterday.

Nothing. This protest is spearheaded by Christian groups known to have no tolerance for the rights of transgenders.

Target has always had a policy of non-discrimination, and that if parents had concerns we could use the family rooms.

Creeps of the world will be creeps regardless of what the law says. Transgender people have been using the washroom without any issues for years.

Most transgender people will use the washroom appropriate for their appearance and it will continue to go unnoticed.

Target allows a man (trans or not) into the womens bathrooms and dressing rooms. They are not allowed to say anything. And already, a man has gone into the womens dressing rooms and filmed someone.

This has nothing to do with trans. This has to do with bad policy.

The reason they have full rights is because of the transgender push. Fear tactics? FEAR TACTICS? This hasn't even been in place one month and already there have been reports of pedophiles taking advantage of the situation. That to me proves what we are saying. The bolded is how it should be. No law needed. This law allows ALL people to go into whichever bathroom they want to regardless of orientation. That is what has changed.

You really have a hard time comprehending don't you? Twice, in the past 48 hours, two males, claiming to be transgendered, were caught filming girls...one in a bathroom and one in a dressing room. Because of this policy, they cannot keep men out of women's restrooms or dressing rooms.
