It's also national scrapbooking day and the national day of prayer.

So, take your scrapbooking supplies to the Mexican restaurant, and make sure to say a good prayer over those Margaritas!

Czech, it was 85 yesterday, it rained last evening and the temps dropped. It's 59 now.

For your area, that is a big drop in temperature!

Here, not so much. Normal for us to see big swings.

DH and I had a fun conversation about our oak tree today. The lady came yesterday to look at the tree and yard to see about taking it down. DH is feeling bad about killing a perfectly good tree. Then he rationalized it that we have lots of other trees. So, I teased him, "yes, you can kill that guy - plenty of other people in the world!" Then he felt guilt. So I had to remind him that the tree tries to kill me by pelting me with acorns and dropping them on the sidewalk for me to fall and it's killing the grass in that area. Killing the tree is self defense and defense of grass! He is feeling better about it now.

And that's the fabulous thing abut America!  We can all have our own opinions!  People have fought and given their lives so we have that right.

I am ready for a real change and a new administration and I Hillary is a HILL I would *die* on.  IMHO she lies so much, I am certain she is not even sure what is the truth and what is HER truth.  She needs to go to jail, or just Far Far FAR away

it is in the mid 80's today and my daughter is getting her new Harley so she her fiancé myself and my husband shall enjoy a nice ride tonight. My husband is on days off so he is aerating, thatching and mowing our 2 acres we have fenced as a yard. It is looking like and emerald green carpet. Our trees are blooming and the smell is just perfect. Last night we grilled and feasted on back deck and just enjoyed the evening and the smells of the freshly mown grass and trees was like nothing else~ if only they could bottle that smell

Well that sounds like a little slice of heaven.

My azaleas & irises are blooming & they look stunning.  And the peepers in the woods behind my house are striking up quite the chorus.

You paint the best pictures, Riding. I can smell the grass, hear the sizzle of the grill and the thunder of the motorcycles. Sigh. I want to live with you.

thanks, if anyone is ever in my neck of the woods you would be more than welcome, we have a 6 bedroom house for just my husband and I. We have 5 kids so at one time we needed it that, now I am ready to fill it with grandkids, when the time is right.

Yes we do ride safe Trudy, the thing that is worrisome is the people who do not watch for bikes. so we have to learn to watch ourselves and others!

But it is more than worth it, the feelings for me on my bike words can't explain, it is a sense of freedom, cruising down the roads with my iPod plugged into my bike speakers and my music blasting!  heaven.

Why must the people I work with be so negative. About everything. It's very tiring.

we are 90 miles west of Devils Tower, 150 miles west of Mount Rushmore, about 5-6 hours from Yellowstone,  between the Black Hills National Forrest and the Big Horn Mountains,  lots to do!

Looking forward to that

They do! I will admit, this new project will be a good deal of work, but I'm excited for a challenge. And my name was clearly written under responsible party for the customer service parts. I just want to tell them all to shut up, back off, and let me handle it. But that's probably "unprofessional"

That's a great looking bike.

Dad hasn't ride his since his knee surgery 3 or 4 years ago.

Mom is trying to talk him into getting a trike.

He has an old Honda. He was wanting a golden wing.

maybe they perceive their lives in such a negative way, they can't help but let it affect everything.  I had a few like that and thank goodness they are no longer here....but yes always argumentative and negative people are very tiring!

all a person can do is just avoid as much as possible and ignore

It's 44 here, been all day, temp is dropping. I have another fire going, cranks the heat up to the high 60's inside the house. And things are still blooming as my red eyes attest to. This w/e is supposed to be 60's and sunny after 5 days of rain, I will be miserable! An Mom is coming up tomorrow until Monday. I hope she isn't too PA.

 Or a sugar maple.

Those things are breathtaking in the fall.
