If you shop at Target you might be held up in line because Muslims refuse to scan items that contain pork! Some may eve refuse to sell alcohol.:

So Target lets their Muslim cashiers refuse to sell bacon.

What?????????confuse

If a store sells bacon or alcohol, shouldn't a Muslim choose a different store, as a place to work?

 Snopes debunked this. http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/targetsharia.asp

Oh, and dear Apple,
You are wrong about the NC Governor starting this stuff. His bill was a reaction to a bill in the town of Charlotte that let people use whatever bathroom they wanted to.
So, no, this wasn't started by the Conservatives, it was started by the liberals.
The Conservative just pulled rank...

When the Charlotte NC had the bill in front of them, before they had voted on it, the governor tried to interfere with legislators by threatening to strip the municipality of their right to govern their own municpality.

Hes not just a homophobe, he is a bully.

 Isn't that statement redundant?

But, still, they started it.

He just went around them.

This convo just proves that you don't know as much as you would like us to think...and also proves your bias...

He's a homophobe because he doesn't think men belong in the ladies room? Does that make you a women hater because you see nothing wrong with perverts in your bathroom?

Homophobe is just a stupid term, used by ignorant people.

I'm not a homophobe in the least. I have a gay man that stays at my house several times a year. And I stay at his. I'm not scared of him or any of his friends in the least.

And I'm still friends with someone that used to be on this board. And she's gay.

People have very different definitions of discrimination.  And most "homophobes" as they are called are not at all.

And I know this will shock you, but the gay people I know are not nearly as liberal as you are.

And he HATES being grouped in with transgendered people.  Gay and transgender really have noting to do with one another...

 Not shocked. Really.

I know that in the States it is imperative to let everyone know your political affiliation. This is odd to me as we just don't do that here (Canada).

We actually have discussions about issues without getting political and name calling. Weird eh?

Discussions or throwing insults out about other peoples perceived political affiliations? I suppose it is understandable given that your country is so completely polarized in this respect.

You've been doing your share throwing insults around.  And you don't even have a dog in this fight.  So your sole purpose is to what?  Just knock American politics and the people that don't agree with you on the social issues?  Why else would you even discuss them.

And it's not like you don't have these issues yourself.  Heck, the University of Toronto had to backpedal on that whole bathroom issue when co-eds started getting videotaped in the bathrooms.

Everyone has ideas, beliefs and opinions on a lot of different topics. It is interesting (to me) to see how others think and to explain my thoughts. You don't have to have a dog in the "fight"...its really just a discussion of ideals.

The university of Toronto, gosh image that... university students and shared showers....how could that not work? lol

As an aside, I have tried not to throw insults even though it does seem a couple posters here are condescending and seem to invite and enjoy "fighting".

Oh no...if a guy is "gender fluid", he can use whatever locker room he feels like that day.  There have been lawsuits.

And its not just washrooms, but dressing rooms. Target has one dressing room for both sexes. I do not want my 15 year old daughter trying on clothes next to a stall with a man...

How closed minded of you not to want your daughter to share a dressing room with 50 year old uncle Charlie (sorry to all the Charlies I know and love) who thinks he's a woman today even though he thought he was male yesterday when he was sleeping with auntie Evelyn. Don't you know that uncle Charlie has never hurt anyone until he did? Well unless you count that neighbor girl he caught alone in the laundry room or the niece he was left alone with for the afternoon.  I guess him trying on a new dress his wife doesn't know about shouldn't bother you at all. Just remember that your daughter should be checking who's looking while she tries that eighth grade graduation dress on. You are such a homophobe...GIANT SARCASM EMOJI HERE

We have stalls for privacy.

No but my granddaughter just graduated from eight grade and came out of the stall to show me her dresses. Thank GOD I didn't have to worry about uncle Charlie because I don't shop at Target.

We have stalls for privacy.

No but my granddaughter just graduated from eight grade and came out of the stall to show me her dresses. Thank GOD I didn't have to worry about uncle Charlie because I don't shop at Target.

But someone could have easily reached over or under stall with a cell phone and recorded her while she changed.

So we're not supposed to take precautions to protect our daughters?  God help your granddaughter...

You can do whatever the hell you want just like I can. I will not shop at Target anymore. If they want to put the rights of perverts ahead of the safety of my DGD then they won't get a penny more of my money. Your opinion about how safe YOU think it is has no affect on my choices. It's hypocritical to say you won't shop there because they sell crap but the safety of children isn't a good enough reason for you.

I don't believe there is more of a threat now than there was a few months ago when you shopped there. The policy hasn't changed.

You can do whatever you want, nobody said you can't.

The pervs didn't know of the policy.  Now they do.

And now they are allowed to shower with my kids at school.  Nope.  Not gonna happen...

It's called reasonable accommodation. There is no need to change the world for the benefit of a few. And it's a very few.
