Taxi, and do you know cost of transportation to/from medical appointments is considered a medical expense? For what it is worth for reimbursement or tax purposes.

Like I said on the other thread, one of your sons should take you.
But you the one going with you gets nervous driving.
Take the bus there, and a taxi home.

No. I dont. Is it like driving in Atlanta? Cause I've done that more than once.
But that's why I said take the bus there and the taxi home.
Those buses generally can get closer to the door.
But waiting to get back home is completely exhausting.
So take the taxi home.

Ed ~ Have one of your sons drive you in. Go early enough so you can plan on getting a relaxing meal before your appointment. There are some nice restaurants near MSK. Take the taxi (car service) home.
OK - I'll amend my reply slightly, after reading more in the Break Room. Have your son drive you to Queens, to a location where you can safely park, and take the car service from there. After the appointment, take car service back to your parking location, and son can drive from there. This way, he can avoid driving in Manhattan, and the car service won't be so expensive.
